My wife and I have been staying here for over nine years when we travel to NYC. My wife has been coming here even longer while on her buying trips. Matt, the doorman will greet you and take care of your belongings with care. I...More
Our first visit to NYC as a family with teenagers. We preferred the idea of a room to fit all and the Metro was one of the few that offered a double and twin combo, with door between. Location was great for us as we...More
Chose this hotel for the central location and because it was one of the few that included breakfast.
Very easy to walk into central New York, ( Broadway and Times Square).
We had a second floor bedroom at the front of the hotel. Very comfortable...More
Just spent 5 nights there and can definitely recommend the hotel. Room was comfortable and quiet. We had the free breakfast most mornings and it was fine. We ate in the restaurant one night and the meal was very good.

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
well the bar and restaurant are to the right of the hotel as you enter, it ,s not apart of the hotel as such.Being as the lobby and lifts are small, workman going back and for would make for a busy area.

"Beware planned renovations from mid-Feb to Sept 2018.
High & rear-facing rooms are quietest."
