We have the elegance of a luxury boutique hotel, but the casual feel that families with small children feel comfortable at. Included in your $25 per night resort fee, take advantage of 24/7 hospitality in our Grand Lobby. A light Continental breakfast is served daily from 7am to 10 am and refreshments and snacks including cappuccino, coffee, teas, water, fruit, and health bars are available throughout the day. Also included with your reservation are WiFi and bottled water in-room. Hotel Giraffe is conveniently located just North of Madison Square Park which is a very vibrant area with amazing restaurants and shops. We had a very good stay. Not our first time there, we regularly stay. The staff are friendly, the room generously sized and the decor very appealing. We also like the location a lot. The price was competitive rather than good. Two things to note: 1) Continental breakfast in the lobby was very crowded, we had to stand and 2) They have the same snacks all the time: bananas, tangerines and Clif bars. Can't they change it up once in a while? And Clif bars are full of sugar. What about a healthier bar? Overall would definitely recommend.

Our family reserved 3 suites. Excellent customer service. Appreciated and enjoyed the concierge service including coffee, tea and snacks provided 24 hours a day. We would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time at the Giraffe! Our room was perfect and the hotel's spacious lobby is an amazing area for quiet planning with a hot cup of tea!! Its included continental breakfast is really perfect. Thank you, Hotel Giraffe, for making our five night NYC visit so perfect! Very highly recommended!

Checkin was prompt, large lobby with 24/7 snacks along with a very decent continental breakfast! For NYC, rooms spacey~housekeeping very efficient! Rooftop for relaxation & great views! Location is good, lots of walkable restaurants nearby! We will definitely return!!!!

I have stayed at the Hotel Giraffe a number of times, and it is always a pleasure to return. Comfortable beds, fluffy pillows and helpful staff make guests feel right at home. I do have to agree with the earlier observation that the wine and cheese reception is greatly missed! I plan events myself and always negotiate a good price for buying wine and cheese in bulk. Sometimes cost-cutting can diminish the overall experience of loyal guests.

I really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Giraffe. The room was exceptionally comfortable and quiet. I had several busy days in NYC helping my daughter move into her dorm, and returning to my room was a treat. The shower pressure was very good, the pillows were perfect, and I loved having snacks, tea and coffee available at any time. I didn't eat the complimentary breakfast, but it looked very good. There is a Whole Foods about a block away for additional in-room snacks, and we ate at several good restaurants near the hotel. I will definitely book this hotel on future visits.

We just returned from our fourth stay at Hotel Giraffe and we still love the hotel itself, the rooms, the location, the roof top........ and above all the familiar atmosphere and great staff (above all wonderful Gabby!). I would have given the usual 5 stars but unfortunately the breakfast has somewhat slackened (no peanut butter, only one type of jam) and the wine & cheese reception is very much missing. It was the "icing on the cake" to make the family experience at the hotel perfect and to get in touch with the guests from all parts of the world in a cozy atmosphere. Please get back from "being great" to "being outstanding"!

I love this hotel, and stay here every time we come to NY. The rooms are spacious, I love that you have an iron and ironing board in the room, free water is great, and the service at the breakfast buffet is outstanding. Also, when I called down for an extra blanket, it was delivered very quickly. All the service at the hotel is great. The only downside this time was that check in is suppose to be at 3:00, and our room wasn't ready until 4:15. My husband sat in the lobby with our luggage for over an hour waiting. This is the first time that has happened to us at this hotel, and I hope it was an anomaly and won't happen again.
