I should never write a review when I'm cranky. A room was booked there because my host knew we liked "Off the Wall" places. But The Clocktower Inn never came up expectations. I had an inkling that there was a problem when we couldn't find parking. I really like the look of the place, and the interior view was OK....

location is great but the hotel needs updating. Our room smelled moldy so we had to keep the patio doors open to air out the smell. free breakfast was good. If you want to bar hop or go to the local clubs its the perfect spot.

Love the location next to the mission and Main Street, which has dozens of nice restaurants and bars. The upstairs room was beautiful and all amenities were pretty nice. But last time we were here (May 2016) they had a great breakfast, now they just have crappy pastries and stuff probably from Smart & Final.

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to restaurants and shops. I stayed here with a group of business colleagues for a conference. My roomie and I were shown to a ground floor room which was TINY and smelled so badly of MOLD. We tried to open the windows, which were welded shut. We were moved to a...

This hotel has seen better days. On arrival, front door was grimy, key-card device was not working, so all coming & going required front-desk person to be escort. Ice machine was broken, so staff had to go to adjacent restaurant for ice ( they were not happy with the intrusion)-not a part of the hotel, just a shared building. Room...

We were passing through driving on the 101 Hwy and it was getting late. Most of the hotels were book. The reception personnel was friendly. The parking is lacking for guests because there were people that also used the parking that were going to the steakhouse restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Our room was on the second floor passed a...

Quaint and charming. Front desk folks were great! Room was perfect size and the fireplace was a plus! It is right on the edge of Main Street so there are a variety of shops; thrift, touristy, clothing and furniture to browse thru in addition to the eating establishments I will definitely return.

The Clocktower Inn was somewhat of a surprise. We were expecting a very run down, old, place. Although it is old, there is a kind of musty smell in the hallways, our room was clean spacious, and we really liked it. Many reviews complained about the homeless in the park. They didn't really bother us and they left in the...

There is a reason this place only has 45% guest satisfaction rate. Should have gone with my gut and listened to the bad reviews. This is NOT a 3star and I will be complaining to Hotwire. At any rate, it is closer to accommodations as a 1.5 due to dated rooms and cheap amenities. The shampoo given is horrible (take...

Checked in late (8:30PM).Room 112,ground floor. Front desk barely welcomed me. Quick process without using credit card for incidentals/damages. No signature of acceptance. This was a 3rd party reservation so I guess they don't care who is using their property. Comfortable bed in a very old [some might call] semi-rustic early California lodging. They need to upgrade the rooms to...
