My daughter and I stayed for two nights over the weekend. The hotel is older, but the room itself was very clean, and you can’t beat the view or the location. The staff was nice, and we were very comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The 5th floor views are amazing.
Your best option for visiting Yorktown and the surrounding area. Many dining options are within walking distance. Our room was number 503. There wasn’t much of a view until you stepped outside. However the bed was comfortable and the room was well lit.
We decided to book a room here on our way to VV Beach. We have a Saturday check in at our timeshare there and usually will stay someplace close the night before. This is a nice local hotel right next to everything.
I am here for some true relaxation and I am getting it The staff was very friendly and accommodating I had a service puppy and they still gave me a nice oceanfront room The view was awesome and the beachfront was soooooo nice You will absolutely love it especially if you have children Many families were out enjoying the water safely It was not too crowded and most people wore masks The Water street grille and Yorktown pub were open for dine in and tasted delicious The Yorktown pub cost less though if your pocket book is a little light The toilet in my room didn’t flush so I had to keep taking tank top off and lift up the flapper I will tell them when I check out since it was not that much of a problem You will love the Yorktown trolley car that stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to all the visitor sites Not sure if it is free but I feel it may be $1 But it’s worth it…

I tried to find out what kind of coffee makers were in the rooms before arriving. Every time I call I was sent to voice mail. I understood why wile we were there. One clerk spent much of her time outside smoking. When you arrive, you have to pay up-front. My husband and my room was a king bed on the third floor that offered a lovely view of the water. The refrigerator looked like it came from a "honor" room with a lock at the bottom. There was a hole in the bathroom door. rags with frayed edges and threadbare. The towels were The carpeting was worn and dirty. Every time the refrigerator went on the microwave rattled. The balcony lock was a hook. The room lock had a deadbolt and chain lock. My mother's room was on the first floor. Her carpeting was threadbare in places. She had no phone in her room. Maid service came in and made her bed but didn't take the dirty towels that were on the floor. This may have once been a lovely resort hotel, but no longer.…
