Beautiful older home right in the middle of the historic village of York Town. Charming hosts with stories of the area and suggestions. Breakfast was superb. Highly recommend. We stayed in the River Room, overlooking street and York Town memorial.

Spent two nights at this lovely bed and breakfast recently and really enjoyed it. The house is beautiful and the bedrooms large and nicely decorated and the setting is lovely overlooking the water. Brothers David and Philip who run their family home are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The breakfast was lovely, made from traditional family recipes and it was nice to...

As we were planning our trip to Williamsburg, we initially wanted to stay in one of the hotels or B&Bs on the Williamsburg property. I somehow came upon this bed and breakfast in Yorktown, which is a short, beautiful drive to Williamsburg. We just returned from a long weekend at the Hornsby House, and could not be more pleased with...

David and Phil went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for. Drinks in the evening, and an incredible breakfast in the morning. Sitting at the family table as we learned...

The Hornsby House is a beautiful family home located right across the street from the Yorktown monument and just a short walk to the waterfront restaurants. We had a fabulous stay here....comfortable bed, fireplace in the room and a delicious breakfast. David Bowditch and his brother have done an outstanding job with their B & B.

They go to maximum to make certain that you are comfortable, connected with other guests and provide a wealth of information on Williamsburg, Yorktown, Gloucester, etc. Our room was awesome. Large sitting area, walk-out balcony overlooking the York, electronic door lock. Fireplace...

Great time at the Inn. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Our host, David Bowditch made us feel family returning for a visit. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the conversations informative. Afternoon wine and cheese was a nice relaxing way to end the afternoon before going out for dinner.
