Stayed one night with my wife, my high school daughter, and a friend of hers, who were visiting Lincoln Memorial University, which is barely 10 minutes away. My daughter's friend wrote us a nice card afterwards, thanking us for taking her, and what a nice time she had -- especially at the bed and breakfast. It was my kind of...

Cumberland Manor is a beautiful B&B and is wonderfully located in within an easy and pleasant walk to downtown Middlesboro, the Canal Walk, a cafe and steakhouse, museums, and locally-owned shops. Jill is an excellent host and provided super insight into the town and region—things to do, where to eat, trails to hike, etc. I stayed for three nights, and...

I stayed at the bed & breakfast this past weekend with my girlfriend. The house is beautifully restored. Though we stayed in late winter/ early spring and only a handful of flowers had bloomed it was apparent that care was taken to make the outside as beautiful as the inside. The house is located in the dead center of a...

If a house could wrap their arms around you in a hug...this is what it would feel like! The most welcoming atmosphere I have ever experienced! As a writer, I was blown away by the "inspiration energy" I felt in the Lincoln room! Even though the scenery was spectacular, I found it hard to tear myself away from the manor!...

My mother and I recently lodged at the Cumberland Manor while I was in town for a medical school interview, and we had an awesome experience! I would definitely recommend the Cumberland Manor B&B to anybody who wants to experience some of...

We had to return to Middlesboro late October for a few days, the only place we considered staying was the Cumberland Manor. Not our first time as a guest there and again not disappointed. Jill is the best hostess, the house was full but everything was perfect. Very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful and delicious breakfast, pleasant mix of guests led...

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at the Cumberland Manor B & B in Middlesboro. Our hosts Jill and John have done a wonderful job of restoring the historic Victorian home to its original 1890's grandeur, and Jill has beautifully decorated the inn with her large antique collection and many other creative touches. We were at the inn in the...

This charming three story Victorian sits on a winding, climbing quiet circle road atop the town; which, in its day, was a booming mining town. It features a very roomy front porch with lots of chairs for sitting and dreaming or sipping wine. The interior is what one comes to expect from a Victorian – lots of nooks and crannies...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This 124 year old Victorian mansion, built for John B. Cary, the secretary-treasurer of this uniquely historic town, has 20 rooms furnished in period antiques and stained glass windows. Overlooking historic downtown Middlesboro, it has views of three states and the Cumberland Mountains. One mile from Cumberland Gap, TN, you can enjoy wildlife, scenic hikes, State and National Parks, golf, lots of special events, museums and history.
