We stayed here three nights when we attended the Concourse d’Elegance at Amelia Island because we could not find an available room anywhere closer. Goodbread Inn is located a short walk away from the small downtown section of St. Marys and the waterfront, and is very convenient for visiting Cumberland Island. Like most B&Bs, the house is an old renovated...

I have never written a review but had to acknowledge what a lovely stay we had at the Goodbread Inn. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable but, the best part of our stay was the sweet inn keeper (I believe her name was Lynn)!! She was very personable, made delicious treats for snacks and breakfast...

What a unique, cozy treat! We had a quick, last minute girl's trip and it was the best! The customer service was better than most nowadays; the willingness to help and make the guests feel like they are back home at mom's was perfect. We were close to everything and enjoyed the gorgeous Cumberland Island (ferry walking distance from Inn)....

The hostess is super helpful and wonderfully hip! She booked us a great tour of the Cumberland Island prior to our arrival, ordered ferry tickets to the island and a lunch to take with us for the day. This is on top of all the other great things people write about in their reviews of Goodbread House - the food...

This home and its owner are a very wonderful treat to experience. From the homemade breakfast every morning that left no room for complaints as full to overstuffing with great tastes. The home itself is a throwback in time and each room was beautiful decorated. Loved the southern hospitality of owner and care she put into our stay. Snacks at...

Stayed at the Goodbread House four nights. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and lovely, conversation easy. The proprietor, Mardja, took care of booking ferry trips and tours of Cumberland Island as well as arranging lunches during our trips. She made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

My friend and I found peace, friendliness, great breakfast, and more at the Goodbread. Relax. Unwind...... Nice! It's all good.... Walk around the little town and don't do anything but relax. We ate some of the best southern cooking I've had in ages.

Our room was on the second floor (I forgot to mention that I didnt do well with stairs), I have back and knee problems. We arrived and had a difficult time bringing up our luggage (3 day stay); staff that was present did not offer to help bring our belongings up. Dont plan on using your computer because for some...
