My first room on the 9th floor was missing the smoke alarm which made my mind wander to what if a fire happened. It also made me wonder if the sprinkler system is operational (this hotel is in that bad a shape). Old tube TV's, peeling wallpaper and paint. It was cheap, I guess you get what you pay for...

Booked this after hotel designated for a conference around the corner was booked. Never ever will I stay here again. I went through 3 rooms. . First, room #1(on the 9th floor) had broken light, remote, and phone. The elevator no longer worked so I had to lug my bags down all the stairs and find my way to the...

The hotel is in ill form and under the gise of being under renovation. There was no sign any work is actually being done. The whole hotel looked like it used to be abandoned and they slapped up some wallpaper to cover it up. The only thing nice was the shower and checking out!

We were initially put on the 8th floor. One hallway on that floor had flickering lights. It was like "The Shining". You had to knock on the door in the lobby to get someone to come out. The desk clerk had a black eye. I'm sorry for her, but it creates a kind of sketchy image in light of the...

We had a lovely suite with 2 large rooms, a comfortable bed, granite counter top in bathroom. The TV was old, but worked well. The wireless internet was actually very good. The parking was not so great, the garage is somewhat run down with very sharp turns and litter. The hotel itself is undergoing renovation so the pool and fitness...

I reviewed this hotel two years ago and I gave it a C because it was "under renovation," then, too. That renovation stuff is a bunch of hooey. It's a run-down old hotel that manages to still get visitors because it masquerades as being under renovation. The restaurant, bar & pool weren't open two years ago. Now, they've added the...

Hotel under renovation, check in at makeshift lobby area, but not that bad. We had a suite on 7 th floor, quite spacious. Very very reasonable. However, parking facility was bad. Very narrow and dark, and stairway was filthy. Location good for a visit at University of Dayton.

Staying at the Dayton Grand this past weekend was anything but grand. I stayed at the hotel a few years ago, when it was the Doubletree for a wedding and had a wonderful experience. The hotel then was beautiful and made quite an impression on my sister and I. My sister booked her wedding at the Kuhns building, about a...

This is the worst hotel I have been to in the world and I have traveled to over 20 countries. I have lived in tents, huts and desert accommodations and the service and attitude of this place was worst that I have ever experienced. Stay as far away as possible from this hotel. They unilaterally told us we had been...
