Title says it all. Balcony is scary, perhaps rotten through. Screen to sliding glass doors off to side on porch. No air conditioning and no elevator. So third floor rooms are very warm. Pretty clean and nice sized refrigerator though. Great view of the travel lodge next door.

I am sorry that your stay failed to meet your expectations. It is always disappointing when we receive reviews like yours but we take comfort in knowing that the majority of other reviewers have a very good experience at the property. The balconies on the property are not as you claim and your statement is just untrue. I apologize the...

When traveling, we typically consider several factors in choosing a hotel, then rating it afterwards. Reviews by others are very important, and we do our homework. Also considered are location, price, breakfast, communication. Comfort, lighting, bathroom space, water pressure...all things that make a stay comfortable or not. We try and get hotels that have character or a feel for where...

We stayed here just one night on the way from Monterey to LV. The hotel was absolutely fine. Easy and fast check-in, large room and good bed. Arrived late at night and used it as a simple accommodation before we went on the next morning. The breakfast was small and simple. Nice view of the mountains. Recommended for a night.

This is a resort town better known for its skiing, and this hotel reflects that. There are a number of issues with this property. The positives are a huge room, clean, very good location and quiet outside. The room also had the longest shelf for luggage we had ever seen, big enough to handle two full size suitcases. The negatives...

Thank you for taking time to comment on your recent stay. We are sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. In reply to your comments and for the benefit of others reading. The property, like most in Mammoth Lakes, is (only) 2 stories and does not have an elevator. There is limited parking in the back of the hotel...

Friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable bed, room a little dated but clean spacious and more than adequate, with fridge microwave, etc. Continental Buffet breakfast is basic but perfectly fine. A convenient stopping point for Tioga Pass Yosemite entrance.

We stayed here for two nights in June, we chose it for its location and price. The Lodge is a little tired although the room was spacious and the bed comfortable, the breakfast was a bit of non event for us, we ate across the road. When we visited there was plenty of parking but I guess this may be...

Thank you for taking time to comment. We are glad you found us. For the benefit of other reading, the Sierra Lodge does not provide a full hot breakfast but a “continental” breakfast. It includes a variety of 3 different types of; bagels, instant oatmeal, pastries, apples oranges and bananas, coffee tea and orange juice and bread and English muffins...

We stayed here for a night on our way to Yosemite. Overall the stay was okay but not as nice as I had hoped. Appearance and cleanliness are the biggest things for me when it comes to hotels and this one wasn't as nice as hoped. It seemed pretty dated, with some wear and tear. The bathroom was a bit...

We have stayed here the past few years while visiting Yosemite. The staff, especially mark and Russell, are always super helpful and friendly. It is an older hotel, the breakfast is basic but that is all we need and it perfectly fits the bill. The rooms are a very nice size. Plenty of room for all your hiking gear etc....

I was booked in to this hotel for two days after our visit to Yosemite. The day we were there it snowed in the upper elevations and they closed Tioga Pass and had everyone exit the south entrance. When I called the hotel to find another route we found out there was not one that would not involve many more...
