My family and I had no idea what we would find in Mammoth Lakes, as I only googled "snow in California". The hotel is located at the most beautiful point in Mammoth Lakes. Service is ok (not considering their shuttle, which makes us freeze more than an hour waiting for a pick up), and at the restaurant/lounge locate at the...

Got a good deal on room $300/night. Fireplace and kitchen space in room. Beautiful hotel, but not a lot of common space. Outdoor pool was nice. Should have hooks or cubbys to keep towels and robes dry from snow.

I've read a good number of reviews on this property and most of the negative ones come from SPG Platinums. Here's another one: The checkin process was a disaster. The porte cochere was full, and when it did open up there were no bellman present. My family had to haul all of our luggage and gear ourselves. Upon checkin I...

We stayed in a privately owned suite via Airbnb. The property (and room) was perfect for our needs. It's a short, easy walk (minus those damn stairs) to the village and the gondola. The jacuzzi and pool were warm and super nice after a day skiing. They also had a nice gym, but skiing all day was more than enough...

We arrived late, our room was less than shown on the travel site, but consistent with the Hotel's site for the price. We had a nice dinner in the hotel, explored the town for a bit in the morning & left. The hotel was good, the town is clearly a snow destination.

We had rented a condo for the Christmas Holidays, but an incoming snow storm the day we arrived forced us to drive up late at night the day before. We had dogs, so our options were limited at last minute, but the Westin saved the day. Perfectly located next to the village, so you have quick access to all the...

Just returned from a four night stay at the Westin in a deluxe studio suite with my wife and three kids ages 16, 14 & 13. Not really meant to accommodate five people, but we managed to make it work as that was the only option available – good thing we like each other… PROS: Super convenient location. Easy walk...

This hotel is in the perfect location as it is literally right in front of the Village area of Mammoth and the gondola ride. The hotel was a bit busy but it was Christmas weekend. The rooms all have mini kitchen amenities. The only issue was dinner at their restaurant. We were a party of 7 with 2 young kids...

We wanted a hotel with kitchen - more convenient with a toddler, and also a separate bedroom area. This is a pricey option but convenient because it is walking distance to the shops/restaurants at the village. It was still a little noisier than I would like because of the summer concerts in the village.

I wish could give this hotel less than one star, because this was by far the worst Westin I've ever experienced. Considering the ridiculous room rates they charge, you would think this Westin would deliver top-notch service. That's not even close to the service I experienced here. The front desk was largely incompetent the entirely time I stayed there. The...
