Great wall-papered room with a four-poster bed. Everything good as should be expected in a quality B&B. Good breakfast, and very pleasant company, and Dave is a great host. Good views from the house. Top notch stay.

My wife and I stayed overnight. A satisfying breakfast for all guests was served promptly @ 9am. A fruit yogurt parfait was followed by a egg souffle. Very comfortable bed with private bath. Lots of free parking. Easy walk to a number of positive reviewed restaurants.

Dave was such a great host. So comfortable and inviting, we had a lovely morning relaxing and reading. The island will be our home soon and we will surely have friends and family stay here on their visits!

We've gone to the Anchorage probably 4 times over the years. Always a great and gracious experience. They are truly people with the gift of hospitality. They give information about local opportunities to enjoy and great advice for things to see and do. And of course the rooms are beautiful.

Central Whidbey as well as the entire island has events of all types to enjoy year round, so it's not hard to give information about local opportunities to enjoy and things to see and do. It's our pleasure to answer our guests questions and give advise. Dave and Dianne

Such a wonderful weekend- lovely B&B, a comfy beautiful room, connecting to interesting people over sumptuous breakfast, attentive and generous innkeepers and all within walking distance to a quaint, waterfront town with excellent food and shopping. I could't have had a better time, and it all began with my stay at the Anchorage Inn!

Reading your review, you described Coupeville in a nutshell. This historic town is truly a draw to Whidbey Island. It was a pleasure to have you visit. Dave and Dianne

Has all the charm that you expect in a B&B. Dave and Dianne were very pleasant and the breakfast pancakes and fruit etc were excellent. We had selected the small room on the main floor which would be a tight squeeze if you travel with a lot of bags. But there are bigger rooms that are comfortable for that. Also...

We're glad we were able to meet your needs for a room on the first floor. Stairs can be a trouble, but fortunately all 17 steps are broken into 3 levels, which does make it a bit easier to climb. Nice seeing you again. D&D's B&B for R&R

We just completed a delightful two-day visit to the Anchorage Inn to celebrate a birthday. The Inn was beautifully decorated for the upcoming Christmas holiday. Dianne and Dave are generous hosts who genuinely enjoy their guests. Their breakfasts were delicious and well worth our repeated visit. This Inn was a great way to escape our routine and really relax. Highly...

What a perfect setting for the Greening of Coupeville and our evening parade. There was a winter nip in the air, but not a biting cold, no wind and the rain was kept at bay until an hour after the community ended its singing, the lighting of the park across the street, the lighted boat parade had passed and all...

It's always a pleasure to fly the flag of a visiting country, even if it is just a neighbor to the north. We're pleased that what we had to offer you was worth the time it took to cross thru The Peace Arch. Sorry our vacation took us away for R&R, but we'll see you again next time. D&D's B&B...
