This is a lovely quiet hotel with a fantastic restaurant by Coupeville, WA. No TV, which means you will get a quiet peaceful stay. Excellent internet if you have to be connected to the world. Beautiful views.

The Captain Whidbey will be CLOSED starting January 1st 2019 for a property renovation and refresh of up to 3 months. We are happily ACCEPTING ROOM RESERVATIONS for any stay after April 1st. It’s More incredible charm, idyllic setting and storied history set it apart from the rest. To this day, Captain Whidbey has done just that. Built in 1907 as the Whid-Isle Inn, Captain Whidbey enjoys a serene and protected forest setting on Penn Cove only 1.5 hours outside of Seattle. Captain Whidbey is just minutes from the destination resort town of Coupeville, and set in the heart of Ebey’s National Historical Reserve on Whidbey Island. For over 110 years, Captain Whidbey has provided intimate lodging, distinct hospitality and quality fare. Its historic lodge is home to Judge Lester Still’s seaside tavern, restaurant and time-stopping guest quarters above.
