Very nice hotel. Very central location. We arrived via greyhound bus from New York (Amtrak train service were cancelled) and found the bus stop to be walking distance from the hotel. Our room was very clean with a nice view of the city. Located near the terminal market. Old city is walkable or a short bus ride. We walked to... More

Very pleasant and nice overnight accomodations. Hotel was quick to check in with parking was next door for a nominal charge rather than have to park at the hotel which would have been twice as much. Lots to see and do in Philadelphia and many restaurants to choose from rather than at the hotel.

The hotel was everything you would expect in a Marriott property. The food in the restaurant was scrumptious and the white zinfandel was not weak /cheap wine. Beware of the valet parking. At checkout it is a mess so allow hours if you have a flight to catch.

Huge hotel. It was quite a hike to my room. Clean, quiet. Very accommodating at front desk. Rooms spacious and well appointed. Breakfast in the executive lounge was wonderful. No complaints. Would stay there again.

I recently accompanied my lady, who was attending a conference in Philadelphia. We made a reservation at the downtown Marriott, and upon checking in, were assigned to a very small room on the 22nd floor that we discovered had no closet or any place to hang up clothing. Finding this completely unsuitable, we called the desk with our complaint and... More

The Philadelphia Marriott Downtown was a really nice hotel. It is located in Center City so it is close to everything. The room was clean and housekeeping was outstanding. They could've used some more help at the front desk as the lines for check in/out were very long.

We stepped out of baggage claim at Philadelphia Airport, directly onto the train to downtown Philly and got off at Jefferson St. Station, the exact location of the Marriott. Our room in Headhouse Tower was spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable. Headhouse Tower is an architectural gem, part of the Reading Railroad complex that houses the Convention Center and Reading Terminal... More

I visited Philadelphia earlier this month and stayed two nights. Hotel is massive but the service is excellent. Great choice for a downtown hotel. Skip valet parking and self park in one of Philadelphia's many commercial lots.

first, there are front and rear entrances to this hotel, which is confusing when approaching it for the first time. in their directions, they give you the address to use for GPS, but then you end up driving past the other entrance & wondering if you made a mistake. we arrived on a sunday afternoon & it was a madhouse!... Stayed over Memorial Day Weekend with my family. First, I am not sure where others booked - however when I made the reservation on Marriott.com, it clearly stated during the reservation process that valet parking at the hotel was $48 / night. There is a garage across the street, however having 5 kids to pack for meant that Dad didn't... More
