So here's my story: We stayed at this hotel April 5th to April 7th with another family. We were on our way to the pool when my 10 year old daughter left something in the room. I gave her the room key to go back up to the room because you can't press a floor in the elevator without a...

Thank you for taking the time to comment about your stay and the hotel’s great location. The safety and security of our guests is one of our top priorities and am only too sorry to hear that we failed you. As you point out, we are a large convention hotel which is centrally located in downtown Philadelphia. Your feedback is...

I decided to splurge since I am in philly 1 week every month and stay in the city. The Hotel is average and above. The elevators are a bit isolated, but the bar area, and lobby is fine. I like the location since I can walk to some restaurants. The room was clean, and I did use the lounge on...

we had problems with our room . We emailed the customer service. The manager (Josh) responded within an hour and rectified the problem. Based on the customer service alone we definitely recommend this hotel. In addition , the location is great and the rooms are very clean. We would stay here again

Dont expect an overly nice hotel here. It is fine if you need to be in the area, but some of the other hotels in the area looked a bit nicer than this one did with similar rates. Service was very good. All and all, an average, not good, not bad stay.

The lobby is great! The pool is nice. Bed was firm and cozy. Thank god, I'm a Marriot Rewards member otherwise I would have had to pay $13 for Wi-Fi. Parking is not free(or cheap). Breakfast was not provided, which probably doesn't make this the best stop for a large family looking to cut corners. Fortunately for me though, I...

This hotel is a disgrace to the Marriott chain. I got here and after giving me the wrong kind of room, the towels in my room were dirty, the bathroom was filthy and when I asked to have it cleaned they said they would send someone up right away. When I got back from dinner there was a bag of...

Very good location, downtown Philadelphia, suitable for both business and leisure travelers. Big lobby with bar, restaurant etc. Spacious and good for meetings in the public spaces. Standards and decor are normal Marriott. Service is fine but rooms could do with an uplift. This is an absolutely ok hotel in centre of the city but nothing fancy.

I stayed in the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown in mid-April for a large conference that I attend ever year. All-in-all, it's a decent property. As other reviewers have noted, it's in a great location in the middle of the downtown area. The hotel is immediately adjacent to the Reading Terminal Market and steps from City Hall. It was nice to walk...

Nice hotel in the heart of Philadelphia. Close to Reading Terminal Market, City Hall, many restaurants, and connected to the Convention Center. About 8 blocks from the historic district. We chose to walk that distance, but I realize many might find that too far to walk. Didn't eat anything at hotel other than room service breakfast, which met my expectations...

Like many, I stayed here three nights for a conference. The location is great and you can walk to tons of restaurants, shops, sites, and transportation. The conference facilities were fine if rather broken up (across floors and halls). My room was in the Headhouse Tower. It is a little bit of a walk (across the lobby, up an escalator,...
