We were placed on the second floor in the front of the hotel on Germantown Ave. I was concerned that the street noise would keep us up. However the room was configured with a living room on the street side with a separate, doored bedroom behind it. The living room served as a buffer and we slept very well. The...

The Chestnut Hill Hotel was such a lovely, charming, boutique hotel for our wedding guests. The staff was extremely helpful, courteous, kind, professional. The location was wonderful for those who wanted to explore "the avenue", and was close to the wedding venue. I worked with Mr. Pollock booking the block of rooms and he kept me updated on the list....

What a delightful stay we had in this charming and jewel-like small hotel in Philadelphia. Our room was lovely, with our every need anticipated (including an umbrella, should the weather surprise us), with tasteful appointments. We enjoyed an excellent meal and unexpected live jazz in the cozy downstairs bar before our evening out. Next time we visit, we plan to...

Upon my arrival, I was greeted warmly by Michelle (Front Desk) who immediately made me feel "at home." The lobby area was cozy with a modern, cool twist; perfect mix of old and new. The Bombay Room is an intimate space; perfect for a family Thanksgiving dinner. Only wish the lighting could have been adjusted/dimmed. The guest room was cozy...

The booking process got a little messed up, but they were very responsive. Other than that, it was a very nice room in a great area. We especially enjoyed the restaurant with live jazz combo. Unfortunately we stayed there mid-week when there was not much open for breakfast, but the front desk staff was very helpful in suggesting some options...

In a lovely town (but it seems to roll up the sidewalks at dusk) with cobblestone streets, beautiful homes and scenery. Room was nicely decorated - pretty lighting choices. Bed was very comfortable. We had a great time during our stay in the hotel. Front office staff John Orr & Michele are very helpful. John Orr is new recruit but his energy to help guest is excellent. I am sure he will do well in his life. They are very warm which is unlike lot of hotels in USA.

Quaint part of town. The hotle is over a century old and replaces an inn that was originally built in 1772. The rooms are small, neat, and comfortable. The staff are friendly, helpful, and willing to help in any way. I had a great stay for three nights. There was a nice selection of restaurants within blocks.
