They told me that my reservation was canceled from a third party site, it wasn't! They offered another rate that was lower and more attractive, the catch is you will be billed for both! You will have to follow with Expedia or hotwire for refund. Which will be hard to get because you already stayed. Don't let them tell you your reservation is canceled!!!

Staff, Room and Bar/Restaurant checked all the good boxes. Good service, good food and clean rooms. Some rooms may be a little too close to the very busy fire station across the road. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a quiet room.

I chose this hotel for 3 reasons - price location and pool as the weather was hot. Location is fabulous as so close to historical landmarks and Market St restaurants. The pool was a major reason for choosing the hotel and after checking in MAY 8 I was told the pool is closed till Memorial weekend - very disappointing. Up to Friday evening MAY 12 front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Internet service was so slow or non existent from Thursday and reason was - hotel was at capacity and everyone is using it - REALLY!!!! A life long friend met me at the hotel for drinks FRIDAY MAY 12. Not only did the bar not have numerous choices of wine champagne, my friend went to pay for her wine and told WE DONT ACCEPT VISA - WHAT THE WORLD ACCEPTS VISA!! I was leaving the table and getting off the high stool - literally slipped away from me and i landed on both my upper arms on the floor. My friend and a gentleman having dinner with his family in the hotel restaurant came to my aid - NO ONE FROM THE HOTEL NOT ONE STAFF MEMBER!!! My fiend had to organise ice packs and they were literally thrown onto the lounge with no towels - STAFF HAD NO PROPER KNOWLEDGE OF FIRST AID. I was in my room with ice packs and my pain killers from 8pm until I left room 431 at 10.30am Saturday morning - NOT ONE MESSAGE NOR PHONE CALL FROM HOTEL STAFF NOT MANAGEMENT TO ENQUIRE ON MY PROGRESS - ABSOLUTELY NO DUTY OF CARE. I sppke with a manager who had asked me the night before ONLY ASKED NEVER OFFERED HELP AT ALL if i needed an ambulance - she said she returned to the bar area and I had left as an incident report had to be completed. I shared with her I had to get to my room I asked to see the report - NO IT HAS BEEN FILED AND SENT WHAT I have never to this day ever seen the report. I spoke with another manager that afternoon and received the same response regards the incident report. To add salt to my bruises I asked for my bill late Saturday evening as I was checking out at 5am Sunday NO IT WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE MORNING. It took me 2 weeks of my remaining holiday in USA to get a total refund of a drink order that was issued by a bar staff member and had no signature by me nor room details intialled by me. I put this ordeal in an email Saturday afternoon MAY 13 to the management of this hotel as there was finally really slow internet I am now back home in Sydney Australia and have had NO COMMUNICATION from Wyndham Management Hotels. HANG YOUR HEADS IN SHAME ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL.

Guestrooms bathrooms and public areas, needs more attention. The floor in my room was dirty. Also, the tables in the lobby were dirty and the floor around the lobby. Front desk agent who checked me in barely talk to me or gave me any information about room location or amenities. The guy who checked me out was very nice and pleasant. I think his name is Chris.

We spent the past weekend in Philadelphia, May 19-21, 2023, Hotel lobby was very clean, front desk was very helpful, our room was ready, clean, AC was great, bathroom, clean, plenty of towels, room had free water bottles, coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. We made use of all. Chris the concierge was great, very informative, helpful and told us some great info on site seeing locations. He was friendly, and very personable and greeted use each time we meet him in the lobby, and spent time talking with us. I would highly recommend this hotel, as the location was in walking distance to the Liberty Bell, and Visitors Center. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was extremely conveniently located. We could walk to most things and always felt safe. The front desk staff was very welcoming and engaging. The room was enough for what we needed and was clean. If would highly recommend staying here if you don’t need a lot of frills and what a good price for what you get.

Interesting duality. As others note, perfect location and friendly staff. This clunker needed a renovation 20 years ago. Electric outlet in bathroom very crooked. T.p. roll holder kept popping out. Musty smell. 1 of 2 ellipticals broken. Enjoy!

The location of this hotel was the only bright spot. We had a rodent in our hotel room on the second night of our stay. While they moved us to a new room after speaking with someone at the front desk we had zero other follow up from management despite trying to speak to someone several times. As someone who is scared of mice this was a horrifying experience that I won’t soon forget.

Noisy heater in the room. Coin operated laundry with no access to coins. Luxury hotel prices for substandard conditions. The location is great in the historic district of Philadelphia but not recommended.
