Can’t say enough about this establishment! The service and cleanliness above and beyond! Cody is the glue that holds it together and makes it an absolute pleasure! If in Philly stay here! An absolute joy!
We loved our stay! Such wonderful and friendly service from the minute we arrived. Huge shoutout to the waiter who made us complementary Americanos!! We enjoyed the pool although were hopeful to soak in a hot tub after lots of walking. Our corner room was amazing with the best views of the city. Beautiful hotel so close to everything. Thank you for the perfect long weekend away!
Tracy’s service and hospitality were amazing. She went above and beyond. Rating solely based on interactions with her. She went out of her way to accommodate us and took care of our needs. Her courtesy and respect did not go unnoticed. Thanks Tracy!
This is by far my favorite hotel in Philly. The staff (with the exception of one person) is so amazing, friendly, and attentive. The location is just great- can walk to restaurants and bars in old city and if you don’t want to leave the hotel- the food there is as good as it gets. The rooms are specious and beds comfy. The reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because of the evening bartender. I’ve stayed at this location at least 20 times and enjoy sitting at the bar and getting some work done. This same gentleman who has been there for quite some time is just in the wrong profession. He’s slow, inattentive, impolite, and snaps if you ask for anything out of the ordinary. I literally waited 20 minutes for a drink this week and there were only 3 people sitting at the bar. Unfortunately- this makes me not want to stay there if I know I’m going to have a low key evening and just chill at the hotel. That said- is still an amazing hotel!…
The room was filthy dirty. No deep cleaning for a long time. Furnishings very old and run down. Also tub was not functional —when asked to accommodate were “less than accommodating”. I assume lots of other good choices in downtown Philly. Stay away from this one.
The perfect holiday experience for my family! Tracey at the front desk was an absolute saint!! When I mentioned that it was both my daughters' first time staying at a hotel, she went out of her way to show us some extra TLC. She made an already 5-star stay even better by allowing us to check in early, accommodating our request for connecting rooms (we have a toddler and 8-month-old, so it was important to be together), lowering the lobby music at 6AM so I could find a quiet space to meditate for 20 minutes, and doing absolutely everything else in her power to make our stay beyond comfortable. Not to mention she always greeted us with a warm hello and infectious smile each time we came through the lobby. This level of service and genuine love of people speaks volumes. If only every hotel had a Tracey running the front desk. We'll be back!…
We were upgraded to a beautiful room with views of the city and an incredibly comfortable bed. Check in was great. LA Wood, at the front desk, was awesome…. Super friendly and helpful. She made us feel like extra special guests.
We had our wedding at the Renaissance Hotel a few weeks ago, in December 2022. We stayed at the penthouse suite while family and friends stayed in the hotel in regular rooms. All the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Everyone was so accommodating and nice! We had issues with our key cards that they were so nice about each time we called. The bartenders at our wedding were FABULOUS, Vincent and Q made everyone happy! The venue manager, Sam Serenkin was just amazing through the whole process! LA and Tracey were helpful staff members as well. So happy we stayed here and had our wedding here.
Tracy and L.A. were working the front desk and were incredibly welcoming! We were able to check in early to our room. The hotel was nicely appointed and clean. We had a King room which was quite large and comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant in the lobby which was very good. Afterwards, we walked to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the Museum of the American Revolution nearby. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back. You cannot beat the service, amenities, and location if you are visiting Philly.
Only the reason I chose is bringing our pet.(Extra $50 charge) Stayed here for a award night with additional points. The location(Near old town) and kind staffs can help this typical small boutique hotel to survive. Never be luxury or having good restaurants. Only one restaurant serve bland foods. Breackfast is avery limited and dry. $25 per person is not worth it. The hotel give elite tier members mere a $10 food credt. I had to pay over $40 for terrible breakfast even after credits(3 people) Only valet parking is available($45) I was not satisfied and will not return here.
