We stayed here last week for business. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, we had five unpleasant experiences during our stay. Perhaps they were all just a coincidence, or maybe the universe just doesn't want us to ever stay with you again. 1. When we went to put our food in the refrigerator, there was already food...

This hotel sits in the perfect location to visit Independence hall, the liberty bell and china town. From the right room you can see independence hall out of the window. Food and drink are wonderful and there are plenty of nearby choices as well.

Nice hotel in the heart of Philadelphia - Great Location. Hotel was recently purchased by Marriott and is being updated to a Renaissance Brand. Rooms were nice and hotel staff was great. Had breakfast two days and while a little slow the food was good. Looking forward to staying again once all the updates are completed.

Stayed two nights for business. King bed, room was nice and comfortable. Front desk not helpful at all. Had issue with billing and still have not been able to resolve two following stay. Can not get a call back or updated receipt. Work out facility also poor. On first day there, saw that the towels for the facility were low...

You can't beat the location of this hotel. It's right next to Independence Park and the Liberty Bell. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. It was a very pleasant business stay.

Very good location close to liberty bell, independence park and Washington Square. Good eating and shopping locations around the hotel. The service in the hotel and restaurant is great. It's an old hotel so rooms and some restaurants are dated. WiFi works very well.

Ok, so I am still giving The Franklin a 3 star review because overall, it was a nice place. I would say 3 ½ if I could, but TripAdvisor doesn't allow half stars, and I also did not experience everything the hotel has to offer (i.e. Full restaurant, fitness center, were missed). The room was decent, 9th floor, and I...

I appreciate your willingness to look objectively at the overall scope of your visit and to address this isolated incident with a touch of humor. The Franklin is tired. Wall paper peeling, grubby finger prints on every surface, linens were permanently stained and our hot water faucet in the bathroom leaked like crazy. But the thing that bothered me the most - no pop machines in the hotel. I guess they want you to go to bar? Fortunately there convenience stores close by but who wants...
