Stayed at Penn's View hotel for 5 nights from April 6 2021 with my husband we both needed a reprieve from Covid Lock-down
I had researched many accommodations in Philly and am so happy this was the one I chose. It was in the perfect location in the Old City We were able to walk to all our destinations and the selection of nearby restaurants was just perfect. The public parking lot next door to the hotel was convenient and the price was right We parked but had no need to move the car for 5 days The hotel itself is boutique and historic it was also immaculate and the rooms were just right. We faced the side street and had a small balcony which gave partial views of the Delaware. The room was quiet and the Queen bed was extremely comfortable which afforded a great nights sleep. There is an Italian restaurant connected to the hotel in the front which has a very nice dinner menu. Overall we couldn't ask for a better stay. I must include that all of the amenities and cleanliness and customer service were all due to the fantastic management of Antonio who did it all God Bless him He was involved from the moment we made our reservation and was helpful every step of the way including providing us with a small refrigerator which he brought up himself. It is very apparent that Antonio is the heart and soul of Penn's View I would never stay anywhere else in Philly because it was an amazing experience and the prices are extremely reasonable for the service provided Three Cheers For Penn and Antonio

We stayed at the Penns View for 2 nights to attend a family wedding that was held on nearby 2nd Street. I have to say that at first I was like, wow this is small and the lobby is kinda unusual, but once we stayed there, the charm, location, personnel, food etc... persuaded us that this was a great place. The food in the breakfast room and the Panorama View restaurant were exceptional. Our room had real hardwood floors, a very comfortable bed, free wi-fi, a modern-recently remodeled bathroom, plenty of outlets and a great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge. All the tourist sites are within walking distance. We were surrounded by cobblestone streets. This hotel is on the National Register of Historic places so it isn't going to be like your new Marriott or Hyatt, but it is a wonderful, comfortable CLEAN (say again, CLEAN) place to stay for a visit to Philly. All personnel, especially Antonio, were helpful and available. Elevator is a little slow, but that just gives you time to reflect on what you've done that day or encourages you to keep active by taking the stairs, which are clean and well lit. We highly recommend this place and will stay there again when in the area.

Labor day weekend in Philly needed a place to stay. I dont do a lot of research just simply location and price. This hotel was a great surprise. Its small, clean and comfortable. I was on the 4th floor with a view of the night life, could open the balcony door (no balcony just railing) to let in fresh air and the sounds of the streets below. Within minutes you can walk to restaurants, bars and historical sites. Yes, the room is smallish but its not too small. It has everything you need to relax, get a good nights sleep, a great shower (water pressure is outrageous) and a great start to your day. Antonio Conrado, the front office manager processed my reservation and sanitized my key, yes a real key, before handing it to me.
Be sure to try the desert at the restaurant in, or on the street outside, the hotel.
Great find, my choice for future stays.

The hotel was located right along the Delaware river with a beautiful view of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and a kiss away from anything and everything you may need within the city. As well as so much history and art to see either on foot or by the big bus tours.
The staff at the Penn’s View hotel was so friendly and so accommodating. Not only was at the hotel amazing but the Panorama restaurant below the hotel was delicious with an informative friendly inviting staff as well! We stayed in the queen patio and the room was more extravagant than I could’ve ever imagined.
My boyfriend and I agreed that we had never had such an amazing day with such a beautiful room beautiful view and wonderful hotel staff. This boutique hotel offer some thing that the commercial names could never. It’s warm and cozy in every sense. Even down to their little breakfast muffins and coffee station, which can taste the love in that the muffins that were baked with.
I would hands-down come here again to make more memories in the future. If you book a room here please be sure to make a phone call to the hotel and ask for Antonio, he was so helpful with little request that I had to make my boyfriends birthday weekend extra special.

It's an historic building on what was originally the waterfront. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed. Would recommend one of these inland rooms as noise from I-95 is minimal. The location is perfect, you can easily walk to all the old town historic sites, restaurants, and the waterfront. There's a free breakfast in the lobby of coffee and muffins every day. The attached restaurant, Panorama is superb.

Location is perfect, right near Penns Landing- lots of restaurant choices (visit Shane for some chocolates!), close to all major sites. Easy to get an Uber if you want to visit Magic Garden (must see). There is some noise from the highway but it’s not terrible- you are in a big city so expect traffic noise. Great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge. The decor is reminiscent of colonial era, beds are so comfortable, great shower pressure. Breakfast is minimal- coffee and muffins. Parking at the adjacent lot is $30 for overnights stay.
Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Penn's View Inn, a boutique hotel centrally located on Front Street near to the Delaware River and the somewhat noisy i95 between. The location is perfect for walking west up Market Street into the city center. The hotel is an old fashioned quaint style. The rooms do not have coffee maker but coffee and muffins are provided free of charge every morning in the reception area. Public car parking is conveniently situated next to the hotel at $35 per day but unfortunately no reduction for hotel guests. The staff are helpful and there are city maps available in reception for sightseeing places of interest.

We had 2 rooms reserved. Our flight got in much earlier than check-in so we asked to check-in early. They only had one room ready at that moment so Antonio at the front desk allowed us to check into that one early. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to many restaurants, bars, and museums etc. The happy hour inside the hotel is pretty good. The bartender, Alex gives top tier service. We really enjoyed his conversation as well as his drinks. All the staff here are most friendly. Even the housekeepers smile and greet you if you pass them in the hallways. Antonio also had a room to lock our luggage away for us after checkout because we had a late flight and wanted to explore the area more but didn’t want to haul suitcases around. Seriously one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had!

The hotel is situated in a great location for getting into town on foot. There is a car park right next door which was very useful. It is however, right near a very noisy raised road and our room happened to be close to this so we could hear noise but were very tired so it wasn't too bad until the early morning.
The room was lovely. Spacious, clean and comfy with a well equipped bathroom.
The complimentary breakfast was a bit misleading as there was only muffins (very small too) and coffee - not even an option of decaf which I need for health reasons.
The is a restaurant on site but when we asked if we could just get coffee in the evening we were declined.
Overall, a nice one night stay but would have asked to be moved away from the road if it had been longer.

This was a charming hotel and a refreshing change from big, chain hotels! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, our room was quite clean, and we were very comfortable throughout our stay.
We had a spacious room with a jetted tub, fireplace, and a small balcony facing the river. While traffic in the busy highway between the hotel and the river was heavy, the room itself was reasonably sound proofed. What little traffic noise we did hear was so constant that it was almost like “white noise”, not an annoyance at all.
The location was convenient for historical tourism destinations with many, many shops, restaurants, and bars within a few blocks. We particularly enjoyed the hotel’s restaurant, Panorama, and its happy hour small plates offerings.

The closest greyhound bus station to the Radisson hotel North East distance
No they do not gave airport shuttle but taxi is a set fare
The walk from Penn's View to Franklin Square looks to be about 3/4 of a mile. I walked quite a bit from Penn's View - I parked my car and did not drive again until I left the city.
The city is old and not perfectly "smooth" - like Florida is.... cobblestone & mixed surfaces are more the rule.
I might not attempt that if you have trouble walking - but if you brought a walking stick or a cane that might help - and take your time!!! It is a beautiful area with so many things to look at! Good luck.
