This hotel is nothing short of fantastic! The location is unbelievable - right in the heart of Old City and steps from so many attractions, restaurants, and shops. Given the location, we couldn't believe the reasonable price. Our room was charming and lovely, very clean, with a truly stunning view over the river, and the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They had lots of suggestions for things to do and places to go. Highly, highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed here this past weekend (10/8/21) when my niece got married. It was amazing!!! Super clean, staff was awesome! Room was wonderful with a little balcony and a view of the river! Due to covid, my niece's wedding was postponed 3x. Each time that I had to change my reservation, Antonio was there to help and so sweet. When I arrived, Antonio was at the desk and very helpful with everything. This is what I love when I am staying overnight, individual charm. When I checked out, Mecca went out of her way when I was having trouble getting a Lyft ride. She was on hold with a cab service while checking people in. My cell phone had died and she checked prices and got me a cab. It was there in 5 minutes. She was so nice! This was very helpful as I was exhausted and just needed to get home. Entire staff was great! Would definitely stay here again :) Nice to know that you can still count on wonderful people and kindness:)

My husband and I live in NYC and we love spending long weekends in Philadelphia. We recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and we couldn't think of a more lovely, romantic place to stay than the Penn's View. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the lovely, welcoming smiles of either Grethel or Mecca at the front desk. These ladies will give you the keys to an absolutely beautiful room. We love the rooms with fireplaces that overlook the river. The rooms are immaculate and the housekeeping staff is very accommodating. The person who holds everything together is the Manager/Concierge, Antonio. Antonio knows everything there is to know about Philadelphia. He has helped us choose restaurants, museum exhibits, etc. He really helped us tremendously last time when he mapped out how we could travel to many of our destinations by bus! That saved us money and the headache of parking. He is the absolute best and he goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are happy. He greets every guest as though they are a member of his family arriving home. Be sure to visit the market and as many museums as you can. Some we have been to include the Art Museum, Rodin Museum and The Barnes Foundation. This city is full of culture. You don't have to go far to dine well. Ristorante Panorama is right downstairs. They serve excellent Italian Cuisine and the have a world class wine bar. Philadelphia has become a great restaurant destination. There is parking right next door but Antonio will tell you about all the parking available in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

Hotel is a little off the beaten path. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy but once we got inside its very quaint.Plenty of places to eat in walking distance. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean quiet room. We ate at the hotel restaurant, Panorama, and it was delightful.

Booked this hotel last minute when we landed in Philly. WOW I was so impressed, this place is the cutest! Antonio and his team were AMAZING and made our stay 100 stars. The minute we walked in they treated us like family and had so much joy having us stay at the hotel. I loved all their tips and advice for exploring. They answered all our questions and made sure we felt at home. This hotel was in the best location for exploring by foot. Our room was so cute and special, I can't wait to come back and stay!
