Detailed Reviews
The staff was great, I did have to check out within 3hrs because the non-smoking facility had smokers in the room next to mine. My room and the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. As an Azmathic, I could not stay. I asked if my room rate could be reduced or refunded and the clerk said he could not. It also smelled as though someone had been smoking in the small office behind the front desk. Again, left within 3hrs with no refund!

While it’s centrally located, it’s in a sketchy area with lots of homeless people nearby. I also didn’t like or expect there’d be a $50 deposit required upon checkin. My reservation said that it would include breakfast, but as of August 2021, there was no breakfast served due to covid (even though another Philadelphia hotel I stayed at a few days prior included breakfast). My booking site contacted the hotel and I was refunded $11. Inside, the hotel is fine, but wasn’t worth the price.

The staff were lovely and it was convenient how close to the convention center it is, however I was quite shocked at how much single use plastic was used every day. All of the coffee cups (in rooms and at breakfast) were disposable and each individually wrapped in plastic which is so unnecessary and so harmful to the planet. All of the cutlery, plates and bowls were also plastic throw away. I was disappointed by this and hope that the Days Inn will make a sustainable change to reusable items.

I stayed for a conference. For the first room I was given a key for the bath plug did not work. The second room was not made up and the mattress was partly off the bed. The third was OK. But it had an interior window onto a corridor and I was woken by people out there shouting at each other in the small hours - this happened 3 times and I got a lousy night's sleep. I was there for four days. On day 2 I asked about room cleaning and was told it would be on day three (all the coffee etc was finished and the bin was full at this point. Day 3 came and went as I was out at the conference and I got back to find there had been no room service.
There was no sense of 'service' there and I was left feeling like I was unwanted there. Not a comfortable feeling and I would never stay there again.
My advice - go somewhere else.

It was unsafe to enter the hotel after a show at the Convention Center--across the street. When I approached there were homeless people lined up in front of the hotel, all round the hotel, even walking in and out of the door.
I called the front desk and explained that the street was completely deserted except for many homeless people and, as a single woman, I was uncomfortable walking through the group of men to get into the hotel carrying valuables from the show.
The hotel staff person said there was a homeless shelter next door and that "put off many people". He suggested cancelling the reservation and assured me several times that there would be a refund. (There was not)
At that point I left Philadelphia and drove home to New York.

Rude staffs, carpet was very very dirty. Couldn't sleep at night due to high noise. Person singing at the next door late night could be heard. My room was near to front desk. So whole night I could hear people talking at desk or in the hallways. Bathroom and hand wash are two opposite corners of the room. Overall guestroom is too small for 4 person, although it was sold to me. No breakfast provided although promised.

I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. We booked our hotel weeks in advance, we knew our flights would be getting in at around 6:30 in the morning and made
This known when we booked over the phone. They had us book the night of our flight until the day we wanted to check out and told us to let the hotel know we would be arriving at the time.
I called the hotel weeks prior to our trip and to told that wasn’t what we should do and that they would cancel the night our flight was coming in and that they would still allow us to check in at 6:30 Am. I called three more times leading up to the trip all being told that everything was as it should be. Called the night of our flight again to confirm only
To be told we had no room, and we would be charged an additional $100 for an early check in that may or may not be able to happen just depending on when people check out. This was at 9 PM mountain time as we are preparing to fly from Denver to Philly.
No help no answers and at one point o was laughed at by the front desk employee. Once we finally got to check in at 3 PM 9 hours after we were told we could, the rooms were fine not much to them but they were fine. The employees are rude and snotty acting like we are bothering them when we ask questions. There are a lot of homeless but if you just don’t bother them they won’t bother you.
Now comes another issue 2:20 AM second night the fire alarm starts going off apparently it had been malfunctioning so the front desk worker was just going to “turn it off” seems safe don’t worry though it went off again about 30 minutes later.
This one is a joke of a hotel and I wouldn’t stay here again for anything.

They had person at another room on third floor about heat. They call for reminder to check out. They very concern for them not customer. They provide no microwave or refrigerator but charge over $100. I froze and they reply is like they don't own it they just work there. The sign on wall permits heat only 70 but feel much like 40. I would tell anyone don't stay there.

The hotel is a nice place to stop off after a trip to the shore or to stay when taking a trip to Philadelphia to visit the historic sites there. The personnel there are helpful and it is a comfortable and reasonably priced play to stay. Its also located a short distance from the SEPTA station and the Greyhound station there which makes it convenient when your coming in from an out-of-town trip.

I don't believe the hotel itself has a parking lot but there are a few close by that you can use... be sure to ask reception about vouchers for reimbursement.
You have to be 21 and older to check into a hotel.
