The Windsor Suites is lauded for its modern and expansive rooms, with a tranquil atmosphere augmented by luxury features such as a rooftop pool, as per guest feedback. Its prime location is highly valued for easy access to attractions and dining. While some guests have highlighted the hotel as a great value, others caution about additional parking costs.
Cleanliness is a strong suit, although there are rare mentions of housekeeping oversights. The service is generally warm and commendable, yet a few travelers have noted lapses. Amenities like full kitchens in the rooms and serene suites receive high praise.

Detailed Reviews
Brief overnight stay booked about a week or less from the date. Room was beautifully designed with two full size walk-in shower bath rooms, large bed room, living room area with large screen TV in the bedroom as well as the living room, in room coffee station, refrigerator. Great views of the city from the 16th floor balcony. The Windsor staff provided excellent dinner recommendations, made the reservation, arranged Uber transport to and from the restaurant. Philadelphia's own all inclusive.

We are a couple from New York City area looking to visit Philly up-close. I booked the 1 night overnight package at Windsor, which included 2 Sightseeing flex pass with 2 attraction and free valet parking. We arrived around 10am, parked the car. Check-in got our tickets, put the bags with Bag check. The front desk person called the sightseeing bus to get free shuttle to the 1st stop of the Sightseeing Bus Tour company. There are two bus company out there. It's not the BigBus, the Siteseeing Ticket only works with the Sightseeing Bus Tour company. There is a very nice restroom just above the stairs next to the front desk to refresh yourself before your day trip. We spent the day on the bus tour, independance hall and walked back to the hotel through the reading market place and the city hall. It's really a nice short walk. The room was very nice, I got the 11th floor, you need your key to press the elevator button. Hold it on the card panel til it turns green. The room had a full kitchen, I think rooms above 17th floor are rentals. It had a walk-in closet.

We were able to park with entrance to the hotel. Less expensive price when booked through the hotel - $25 a day. An employee immediately took our luggage up to our room right from the trunk of our car. Clean and roomy. Comfortable bed. Great location, right on Benjamin Franklin Parkway; we walked to the Philadelphia Art Museum and the African American Museum, about a mile to each one. Two nice restaurants outside the hotel, breakfast was good at restaurant, but not included, but prices in both restaurants was not too formidable. The staff was very helpful and professional. And the rooftop pool and sitting area - out of this world. Fitness center was good. An all around great experience.

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel. I would 100% recommend. I will never stay at another Philadelphia hotel if it isn’t this one. We were greeted by Jamir as soon as we arrived who walked all of our bags to our room, he checked on us all throughout our stay and made sure we loved our room. The ladies at the front desk were also amazing.

We stayed there for 2 nights and had an amazing experience. The pool area was clean and super enjoyable. We stayed in a suite room with a mini kitchen which is great, especially if you order a lot of food and need a place to reheat. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY from the reception desk to a friendly greeter at the door and the elevators area. The lady who checked us in and out was really sweet and any time we had any questions or needed anything, the staff was helpful. The staff provided towels and toiletries whenever we asked.
The hotel is at an AMAZING location. The views from the rooftop were nice. Everything is nearby to walk to. Our room had the view of the courtyard from the 9th floor. The only minor issue was of cleanliness in the bathroom but because we visited around this time, we chose to wipe up the hotel room and our bathroom ourselves with Clorox several times for our own sake. Masks are required in all public areas so that was good too.
There are plenty of cafes and restaurants near the area and even in the hotel.
It was a lovely and safe stay.

All the staff here were so helpful and friendly we were always greeted w a smile (I could tell from their eyes since they were all masked at all times). Really top notched level of service. The rooms were clean and spacious- we had a pet dog and they don’t charge a pet fee which was nice. The rooftop has a fire pit and a infinity pool that was open in oct- the water was warm! It’s about 10-20 min walking distance from most of the top attractions in the city. Really close to reading terminal, Franklin institute, chinatown, etc.. but right around the hotel is quiet and peaceful. The parking garage has in/out privileges and the rate for hotel guests was fair considering it’s in a great location in the city ($45/night).

Wanted a hotel in Philadelphia along the Parkway with proximity to the Barnes Museum - walking distance. Found Windsor Suites online. Fairly priced with onsite parking. Converted beautifully from apartments to a hotel. Gathering that many rooms are different depending on the layout of the previous apartment. My room, a suite, guessing about 1000sqft, twin beds, well appointed bathroom, dining area, full compact kitchen, two large closets and working space. More than I needed for a three night four day stay. But very comfortable and wonderfully quiet. No sounds of traffic or other hotel guests. Not complaining but did hear the sound of the wind tearing through the tall buildings outside my window as I was going to sleep. Very comfortable bed. Hotel offers at very reasonable cost a “fill the fridge” option which I used. Unfortunately there was a mixup on delivery my first day, and graciously management comped me, generously, for part of my stay. Thank you. Did not use the exercise room or restaurant in the hotel or the in and out option of hotel parking or that I could have kept my car there until 6pm on the day I checked out if I had further business in the city. And most important, the staff, all departments are well trained, upbeat and friendly. Definitely coming back next time I come to Philadelphia.

We visited Philly for a quick winter weekend getaway and with their pet friendly rooms were able to bring our pups. The weather was unseasonably warm and they had the heaters and live music in the bar outside which created a lively atmosphere. The room was clean and well-maintained. There are creative touches throughout the hotel giving nod to its location on Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Located close to the Love sign, it’s also great for photo ops and a short walk to the river walk! Stephanie at the front desk provided excellent service, Local recommendations, and followed up to see where we went when we checked out. We will definitely return again soon!!

+1
I can't figure out why this hotel has so many 5-star reviews. I booked a 2-night stay based on the reviews here and the pictures on the website. My room had a much more rundown feel than the ones on the website. It had several broken items and was not very clean. I ended up checking out after the first night.
First the pros: the rooms are large, including a large closet and a kitchenette, the front desk clerk who checked me in was very friendly and the location of the hotel is good. It's also pet-friendly if that's what you're looking for (although I was not for this stay). There was a safe in the closet for valuables, which I always appreciate.
There were many cons for me, however. Rather than carpet, which is in all the pictures on the website, the room had vinyl floors with no rugs anywhere, which made everything echo. The beds were a weird combination of hard and springy, and not at all comfortable. The upholstered chair had stains on it and the desk chair was so cheap, it nearly fell over when I sat down. The blackout curtain was completely broken, and when I called the front desk about it, they said they could send an engineer to try to fix or replace it, but didn't know when he'd arrive. I waited for a while, but then gave up and told them to cancel the engineer because I was going to bed. Unfortunately, even after dark, there was a lot of ambient light that came into the room without the curtain to block it.
There were also a number of annoyances, like the fact that the alarm clock was set to the incorrect time but had a panel blocking guests from being able to change it. A supposedly clean washcloth was stained and there were hairs in the bathroom from a previous guest. The hand soap was full but the pump didn't work (and was attached to the wall in a way that couldn't be accessed). The floors had not been swept or vacuumed between guests. The hair dryer had greasy fingerprints on it.
I was glad that I wasn't visiting during the spring or fall, because their heating & cooling system only allows for the full building to be heating or cooling at one time. If you have a cold day in spring or a warm day in the fall, there's likely no way to achieve a comfortable temperature in your room.
The valet parking area was very small and full, and there was no way to call for your car ahead of time when you needed to leave. It took about 15 minutes to get our car, which isn't unreasonable, but I would have preferred to be able to call ahead.
My overall impression was that this is a budget hotel masquerading as a higher end hotel. As long as you know that you're booking a budget hotel and set your expectations that way, I think you'll be fine. But IMO there are many much nicer places to stay for the same price in Philadelphia. I wish someone had posted a review like this because I never would have booked this hotel if I had known what the reality was like.

The hotel is in a great location. It was a quick drive to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The best part is that it is within walking distance to many of the historical landmarks and most importantly food! Every staff member was kind, respectful and extremely helpful with any and all questions I had even the valet!
Our visit was during a heat wave. The room was a bit warm for my liking but I was quickly given a fan to help circulate the air. We really enjoyed the pool.
The only complaint I have is that the pool closes at 8. I would have loved to get some night time photos of the pool and city lights. In my opinion, city lights at night are simply magical.
Our room had a stove, microwave and refrigerator with clean dinnerware in the dishwasher.
I will definitely stay here again!
