The hotel is in the perfect location, with many historic destinations within walking distance. My room was lovely, bed very comfortable. Customer service was extremely helpful, as was the front desk also. I had a few special arrangements which were necessary for my stay and the staff went beyond the “usual” to ensure that I was comfortable. A large group of family stayed at thebPalomar for the wedding of a granddaughter and it was a good choice for us.

My husband stayed at the Kimpton for a long weekend in June 2023. The location is ideal for shopping and dining. It is located in a safe area that has many walkable options. I love the hotel is pet friendly and offers a complimentary happy hour. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room 409 was very quiet. We purchased breakfast for each morning. It was great. The dining staff were exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here before (post-Covid, so that can't explain the difference) and this time did not measure up. Small room (on a corner of the building), interior getting shabby (carpet fraying), housekeeper did not really have to take the clean-but-hung-up-to-dry towels, but then didn't leave any washcloths (this was around 5pm). Iron was broken (tank dripping water) and the replacement (a brand-new one!) did not show up for an hour, after I finished the shirt on steam-free and using the blow drier. Door staff inattentive. Trash in the hallway not removed even after several hours. There are better choices on/near Ritt Square and I will check them out.

We came to stay at this hotel because of a family wedding. I thought l was staying at the Ramada Inn as to the quality of the room. This hotel is 15 years old but it feels like 25. Room very old with doors coming off hinges inside where the refrigerator is.. The Westin Hotel is near and is better. Not worth the money.

A lovely hotel in downtown Philadelphia. Older building, so it had its quirks. Elevators made a few noises, room layout was unique and smaller. Wi-Fi was decent but limited to one device. I had a king room on a high floor and there was minimal noise from other rooms. Bed was extremely comfortable. I was there for a meeting in the hotel. The staff that served the meeting were spectacular and hospitable. Gym was decent. A handful of ellipticals and treadmills, but the two Pelotons were out of service. Would probably stay again if for no other reason than the Kimpton wine hour.

Very well located hotel found right off of Walnut and Locust Streets in Center City Philly. The hotel is very comfortable, well laid out and usually well-priced. There are plenty of options in the area, but I’ve always found this one to be consistent and reasonable. It’s surrounded by some of the City’s best restaurants, shopping and bars too.

We booked this hotel for graduation event almost a year ahead of time. We had to pay the amount of $2600 for five days in full at the time of making the reservation. We expected better. From the point of arrival where there was no one to help us with luggage, through the elevator, where the music is on far too loud, to the room, where there is not even a comfortable chair on which to sit. The toilet had a dirty bottom, which had never been cleaned. Service was sporadic with making the bed, changing the towels, but not doing any cleaning. The hotel front door is heavy, and is only occasionally opened by an attendant. We will never use a Kimpton Hotel again.

We loved this family friendly sophisticated hotel! The location was perfect! We were walking distance to Love Park and Dilworth park and a short drive to Independence hall, liberty bell, Franklin Park, Franklin Institute and so much more! The Kimpton Palomar-Philadelphia has bikes you can borrow as well as micro kick-board scooters with helmets. Some of my other favorite amenities included. -plant pals program, guests are able to request plants to their room. -happy hour everyday from 5-6pm -yoga mats in every room -24 hour fitness room -restaurant with delicious food! We loved our stay here and highly recommend!

When staying at a Kimpton property, the experience should be top notch from arrival to check out. The property itself is wonderful--tastefully decorated rooms and comfortable bedding The aesthetics of the hotel lobby space is fantastic. What let me down was the indifferent demeanor upon my arrival from the valet staff and no real warm welcome from the check-in desk clerk. A smile and a friendly vibe goes a long way for all travelers, but especially so at top hotels such as Kimpton.
