Detailed Reviews
The location is on a main street that likes to have flashy loud cars/vehicles at all day and night so consider sleeping on the eastern facing streets vis the front door street (N Board), you'll have less noise. That being said, each room had eye masks and ear plugs which SIGNIFICANTLY cut down on the noise. My 2BD/2BT apartment/room complete with wide hallways, tall ceilings, washer/dryer, full sink/kitchen with microwave, stove top (there may have been a stove - I wasn't focused on cooking like that!), toaster, full-size frig, kitchen utensils & service ware, full living room area with big screen TV and access to all streaming modes available. Bedrooms were clean w/ soft carpet with the rest of the flooring a beautiful dark brown wood. AC worked *wonderfully* on those hot Philly afternoons! My sisters and I NEVER felt too-crowded together in these lovely accommodations. Will be back!

My son and I stayed in a two bedroom room, which was really like a condo with full kitchen, dishwasher, and in-room laundry. The place was over-the-top beautiful for a very reasonable price. Very clean, super nice, helpful, and professional staff. Great location as well. Will definitely stay here again when in Philly.

Very comfortable apartment in a nice, well-appointed building. Full kitchen. I was only there for one night but would have been comfortable there for a week or more. There isn't on-site parking and I might have worried about a car on the street, but I didn't have a car and ride sharing is quick and affordable from this location. Several restaurants within walking distance and an Aldi next door if one was staying for a few days and making their own meals.

Mint House overlaps the worse elements of a hotel and Airbnb —if it were really a hotel, it would have a polite and well-trained staff. It does not. The check in procedures are absurd—with security and background checks more suitable for the CIA. Light bulbs were out in the room, lamps weren’t plugged in. It didn’t seem to be up to fire code. The whole angle is about tech—but why? Why not just a warm and helpful place to stay? The coffee shop on the ground floor is fantastic—best lattes in the city.

My unit was over 600 square feet. It included a kitchen with, fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher and dishes and silverware. It also had a large living room with a dinette table and 2 chairs, a sofa, coffee table, and a large TV. Upon entering the bathroom is a washing machine. The bathroom had a roomy sink, and a bathtub with shower. The bedroom had a small work desk, queen bed, 2 end tables, and a walk in closet. The units are actually condos. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because discounted hotel parking requires a 10 minute walk. However, if you don't have a car, there's a subway station right outside the door, along with a few busses.
Overall, everything was new and clean. Hint: if available, book the city view units.

Lots of character, the space was great. Front desk was hard pressed to get us ice from the restaurant/bar which wasn’t open yet. Ran out of discount coupons for parking. Coffee maker didn’t work. Never did figure out how to use the TV, no housekeeping, garbage overflowed. No place to put recyclables. Felt and heard each and every subway train beneath the building. You know it’s not a good thing when the hotel provides guests with sleep masks and ear plugs!

Hello Ilene W! Thank you for choosing to stay with us. It looks like we missed the mark on a few items during your stay - we have our maintenance team correcting these issues for future guests. Unfortunately, the 2nd floor can at times experience some street noise due to our central location, which is why we do provide sleep kits for all of our guests comfort. We look forward to welcoming you again the next time you visit Philly - please reach out to billy@minthouse.com should you return so we can ensure a perfect stay. Warm regards, Mint Team

We did a room block at The Divine Lorraine for our wedding and I would highly recommend it! I wish I could live there full time! I am giving 4/5 stars because the hotel is relatively new and it seems like they are still working things out, but the rooms are beautiful and there is a lot of potential for a 5 star experience!
Pros:
-We worked with Dawn from the restaurants in the hotel and arranged for meals to be served to our guests and the food was delicious and was delivered and cleaned up on time!
-The rooms were so spacious! You can't beat having a full kitchen in a hotel room.
-As the bride, they set up a text chain for me so I could request things quickly, which was very helpful.
Cons:
-A lot of our guests' key cards kept getting deactivated which was annoying.
-Slow elevators. This coupled with a deactivated key card... not great.
-Check-in was chaotic. They need to hire more employees.
-I had a room block of 12 rooms and every person commented that their coffee maker overflowed.
Overall, I would stay here again and again and I hope this place thrives! If you are a light sleeper you need to request to stay on the 6th-10th floor. Anything lower, you will hear music from the club downstairs and the many sounds of Broad Street.

We hosted a family baby shower at Mint House. All our guests had their own suite and were very happy with the accommodations, and the penthouse suite was perfect for our party of 23 guests. The sales team was extremely helpful and accommodating, the front desk staff were lovely, the location is very conveniently located. The full kitchens include place settings, chefs knives, spoons, a mixing bowl and colander, and there's an Aldi immediately next door, so it was even easier than I had hoped to host a family party at Mint House. It was also a great place to stay for families with younger kids - plenty of space in the suite for kids to play. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. The street noise/music from other apartments was a little loud at times, but the hotel provides ear plugs, and that is the only knock on the space. Definitely would recommend!

Since my daughter started attending Temple University, I'd been very curious about the Divine Lorraine. Everything is fascinating about it, the architecture juxtoposed to its surroundings, the sense that the neighborhood wants to change, its proximity to The Met. Loved the views of Northern Philadelphia. This is truly a boutique hotel experience, so there are nice luxuries like great coffee in the cafe and the restaurant with a price tag that feels like you are getting value for money. It's also helpful that a great supermarket is basically adjacent to the hotel, very convenient. They had the amenities I needed to heat up a meal. Most importantly, the rooms were quiet and the beds were topnotch!

I was looking for a bigger space that could comfortably accommodate three adults and one child. This apartment was perfect!! Love the location with a train stop right in the front that allows easy commuting to other parts of the city as well as walkable to other areas of the city. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Loved our stay!!
