Perched atop the Comcast Center, the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia has garnered praise for its luxurious ambiance and meticulously clean environs. While some guests note the steep prices, many feel the opulent experience and personalized touches in the rooms provide value for money. The hotel's amenities, including a sumptuous pool and spa, are celebrated, although a handful of reviewers have suggested minor enhancements.
Despite occasional service hiccups, the overall level of care remains high. However, the lobby can become quite congested, somewhat diminishing the sense of exclusivity.

Detailed Reviews
Four Seasons Philadelphia is what every exceptional hotel should strive to achieve. True luxury hotels are quite expensive and so high expectations are set and very often not met. Not only did this hotel meet the 5 star expectations but more importantly they exceeded them which takes them into the most desirable category of good value. We have traveled to many, many of the best hotels in the world and there are quite a few that are excellent but very few that we would call exceptional and good value. This is truly a rare gem!
My husband surprised me with a special birthday weekend in a corner suite. Everything about our stay was fabulous from the men who greeted my car (and proceeded to call me by name all weekend) to the various escorts that led me through check-in and a guided tour of the suite. The complimentary chocolate ganache birthday cake in the room was divine and the prosecco and personal notes were very much appreciated. We had an outstanding evening at the bar on the 60th floor followed by a very memorable dinner overlooking the city at Jean Georges. To say that we are looking forward to returning would be an understatement. We are already planning an annual trip. Thank you for a fantastic and memorable weekend!

From the moment we stepped into the hotel we knew we were in for a treat.
Giovanni greeted us on the ground-floor, recognizing our FS Elite status and we were then rapidly (and I mean rapidly) whisked up in a jaw-dropping elevator ride up 60 storeys in under a minute.
The FS lobby on the 60th floor of the glamorous Comcast building is absolutely gorgeous. The views are sensational (day and night) and the interior design and décor is among the very best I have seen in any FS and I have stayed in at least 50 of their hotels and resorts. The design is also clever. No stop from Ground to 60th floor and then the guest floors are just on a few floors under the 60th floor lobby, making elevator service very rapid at all times (the gym and infinity pool are on the 57th floor).
What made this stay even more pleasurable was that the quality of the design and accommodation was matched equally with the polish, courtesy, professionalism and charm of the staff. Fernando who showed us round the room and recommended the best places to try a Philly Cheesesteak couldn’t have been nicer, and both Katrina at the main desk and Jean the concierge were totally on point and excellent.
Sleep quality in our corner suite was absolutely amazing. I haven’t slept in such a comfortable bed for years! All appointments were sumptuous and luxurious down to the Dyson hairdryer- and the view from my bathtub of the city was fantastic! The lighting and drape controls were also very effective. I was also delighted to see a (very chic) tea kettle in the suite, which I far prefer to having to order room service when all I want is a pot of English breakfast tea.
We simply LOVED this sophisticated hotel and everything about it.
Kudos to the whole team for making this such an impeccable and perfect stay. I am now having to plan WHY I would return to Philadelphia because this hotel is too good only to stay in once.
Worth every dollar.

We stayed here 1 night as a late Valentine’s Day celebration.
Pros - clean rooms, beautiful views, friendly employees, easy to communicate with them via their app, our room was ready on arrival (12:30), had masks & sanitizers in rooms, offered us turndown service (other hotels have cancelled this due to Covid).
Cons - small rooms, in room coffee machine didn’t work properly, couldn’t find an iron/ironing board in the room (?).
We did not get a chance to see the pool or spa but did venture to the restaurant Jean George’s which was very pretty & romantic at night. Portions were small.
We stay frequently at the FS Baltimore & prefer that hotel but we did enjoy our stay here.
Thank you Four Seasons Philadelphia!

Arrival to the hotel blew me away, friendly staff to assist with luggage and an autonomous elevator that brings you to the stunning 60th floor lobby - truly something out of a movie. With that begging, I thought for sure the rest of the experience would be outstanding, as I hoped it would be for $800 for a single night in their most basic room. So, when I arrived to my room and the lights automatically turned on, shades opened automatically as I stepped into the main bedroom area, I thought this would be the case. However, the details are what counts in a hotel such as the Four Seasons. Upon closer inspection, I found the duvet cover to be ripped, wallpaper to be peeling from the ceiling, and insulation covering between the window and wall to be falling out of place revealing the insulation behind it. I hesitated to write this review, because I am not ordinarily one who would complain about such things, and if I had been paying $60 a night perhaps I wouldn't. But, that was not the case, this room cost $800 per night, and at that rate, the details do count.

Never traveled there because I could not get any confirmations
For 2 months I tried to get confirmations for rooms, spa treatments, dinner and brunch for a small group with no success. Initially, I received a rate for the rooms and a room rental quote for a specific room which was 1000 plus 4500 F&B minimum for 15 people. Although high, I confirmed my interest and requested a proposal outlining the costs and program details. Every time I asked for a proposal I was asked if I was available for a phone call and then I was asked the same questions. I continued to ask for a proposal with no success. I asked if I could please just have room confirmations at this point and that we could finalize other details later. After playing this game for 2 months; I still did not have room confirmations, no contact from the spa and I was told the dinner venue requested would be under construction Saturday night but available for breakfast Sunday at the same room rental and was offered 2 options for Saturday's formal dinner [one with a view of a parking garage] at the same room rental; AND a decision was needed in 48 hours. REALLY?
I have planned meetings out of the country and in major US cities for over 16 years and have never had a more frustrating experience. I am disappointed because I was excited about hosting an event at this hotel; however, customer service is more important than an exquisite venue.

What an experience!!! Every second in the hotel was special from the grandeur to the service it’s truly incredible. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and from one of the guests “it’s like we’re in a space ship” and I could not agree more it’s truly out of this world. I can’t emphasize enough how clean the hotel is and how important that is to most people including myself. The hotel itself truly feels unique and wherever your at expect an incredible view of the beautiful city bellow. That’s another thing the hotel is all in the sky and that adds to the spaceship feel it’s truly unique. When you enter you are greeted by an awesome staff of people that cater to your every need, then you are brought to an elevator that brings you up a glass elevator like Charlie and the chocolate factory and you see the city bellow as you rise to the top where your greeted by more amazing people and shown to a stunning lobby with fresh flowers, and then taken to your incredible room. The service is what sets the four seasons apart from the rest they are there for anything you may need and make you truly feel welcomed and comfortable(worry free). The attention to detail is amazing so many times I was stunned by the small details that they did truly made it an experience. I would run multiple times a day and they would always have water and towels ready for me when I returned AMAZING!!! The pool was outstanding and so special it’s the only infinity pool in philly and looks over the beautiful city. Not to mention in the same area is a gym that is so clean and full of great equipment I didn’t know where to start. They also have a spa that was just beautiful again overlooking the city. Plenty of restaurants on sight and all are great! Truly an amazing experience and I was very sad to leave but will be even more excited to return, truly one of the greatest hotels in the world. Thank you to the amazing staff that keep that place rocking and rolling 24/7 amazing!!!

The Four Seasons did not disappoint. Yes, it costs more than other hotels in the area but it's worth it. The service is outstanding from the moment you pull up until you depart. There was no slacking at all. The views are amazing from the elevator and the guest rooms. The guest rooms are stylish, clean and well-appointed with everything you could need. I slept like a baby. The rooms have a sound machine and a portable speaker. The bathrooms are well thought out. As someone that prefers minimal interaction at times I love the ability to communicate with inroom dining, front desk or concierge via the tablet in the room or an app on your phone. They are taking COVID very seriously, as they should, and require face masks in public spaces and when interacting with staff. Your temperature is taken with a digital monitor upon entering. The location is close to area attractions. Can't wait to come back!

Stayed here on a conference and booked a Grand Landmark room.
Check-in was cumbersome cause although I did check in online they gave me a city view room, which was not what I booked. They found the room category I booked, but the room was not yet cleaned at 2pm. So I had to wait and they promised to call me on my mobile when room will be ready. After 1.5 hours no call, so I reported again to reception and they told me they were just about to call me…;-)
Grand Landmark room is very nice, but has no desk, just a pretty small round table. Was ok for me, but if you have to work from the room it might be not convenient.
Storage space for clothes is very limited, just an open rack, no closet, and two drawers, actually one because the 2nd one was occupied by the room safe.
The light concept I liked a lot, AC was very accurate and curtains move electrical when you touch it, or via buttons next to the bed.
Though the building is only three years old I was surprised about the poor noise insulation of the window glazing: there’s heavy traffic below, and you hear it in the room on 55th floor! From 5am on I put my ear plugs.
Bathroom was gorgeous without German Hansgrohe taps and showers.
Service was not really Four Seasons standard as I knew it:
One day I found sticky stains on a sheet they had just put on. Was exchanged immediately.
The mugs, cups and glasses in the minibar were taken away when used, but never replaced. So, I had to ask to replace it.
The minibar showed stains, see picture.
All in all very good, but not (yet) perfect.

I overall had a lovely experience at the spa here. My massage was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed sitting in the relaxation room afterward, as well.
There are a few things that bump my review down a star. During COVID, the steam room/sauna are closed which of course I understood. However, the infinity pool (and gym) remain off limits for spa customers unless they are hotel guests and the prices are the same. I would hope that at this price level there would be more consideration when removing amenities.
There were a few hiccups during my visit. The hot water wouldn’t work in the shower. In addition, another guest in the relaxation room had several loud phone conversations on speakerphone (though the hotel staff did eventually intervene). Not dealbreakers- but with a Four Seasons experience I would have expected a discount or at least a small extra complimentary offer in exchange.

The Four Seasons is a beautiful new hotel with excellent service. The lobby and restaurant/bar are stunning. The location is good, not quite as central as the main cluster of hotels but still very walkable, and they have a house car that will take you anywhere within a 1.5-mile radius.
The room itself is pretty basic, and minimally furnished. The floor to ceiling windows give a gorgeous view, and make it feel light and airy. Positives include a comfortable bed, good bedside tables with lights and power outlets, coffee maker, and we had pretzels and beer to welcome us. The bathroom had lots of counter space, a makeup mirror, scale, good lighting and a good hairdryer. The ladder-style towel rack leaning against the wall provided a convenient spot to dry hand laundry.
There was decent closet space, but almost no drawer space, just one small drawer in the closet (the other was occupied with the safe.) No luggage rack either, so I put my suitcase on the ottoman to use it as a drawer. This could be rectified with more useful bedside units including drawers for clothing. The other difficulty was a wonky electrical/lighting system – ceiling lights and wall sconces are on one circuit, so it’s all or nothing, which is annoying, and the electronic “do not disturb” sign seemed to occasionally turn itself on or off. We began watching it closely after not getting housekeeping one day because it was on, and we found it acting up again another time or two. But overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It is definitely handicapped accessible for wheelchair users. The entire property has elevators. The only exception might be the main restaurant (which is down some stairs). The pool has a lift to assist users to get in and out. Not sure about discounts.
It is not a typical four seasons. No construction as of September but it is a very average hotel. Marriot has a better hotel there in my opinion. From service to quality to disgusting elevators it is very very overpriced.
