Ok I went today to what they are calling soft opening as it is open but not officially open till February 11, 2021. I went early it was around 7am ( done on purpose less people the better in this virus time) But I have to say it was really nice..the floor is set up really well where you can find the popular games such as lightning links and Buffalo are scattered not all in one location like in man other casinos. Staff all full of smiles . The music is upbeat and had me dancing to my next machine..plenty of slots lots of new games too the high limit slots I wish was larger I felt cramped when I was in there. Plenty of parking big lot across the street and garage parking is where I parked bright felt safe. The casino is also nice and bright... I broke even in winnings but several people in know did hit pretty big ( over 1k) I want to try the hotel but will wait till I get comped for them ...but you can get a room for about 200 and up!all the food places I saw were closed so I can’t speak on the food yet. No smoking at the moment and I hope it stays that way...bottom line yes I would def recommend going here.right off 95 soo stay on 95 ( if your going North keep going past sugar house casino which is now Rivers casino ..I think Rivers will have an extremely hard time staying afloat now as it’s not far to Live. ..may even hurt, (not as much as it will hurt River) parx and hurrahs because LIVE has a hotel a huge plus. They clean have dividers in response to Covid I felt safe..they do them check.

This was our first visit to the Live Philly Casino. With Covid issues still prevailing my husband and I opted to stay closer to home and since we generally go to AC to gamble and stay on our birthdays ( we have bdays one day apart!) we decided to check out this new Casino as it had a connecting hotel. We met with Samantha at the front desk who immediately greeted us with Happy Birthday salutations. She checked us in quickly and assigned us a beautiful signature suite with an amazing view! Once we arrived at our room we were greeted by Kiana ( hope I spelled her name correctly) from housekeeping who again wished us a Happy happy birthday and was so friendly and welcoming. We then were pleasantly surprised by Samantha who brought us a birthday treat and personalized birthday cards hand written to me and my husband. This was way beyond our expectations!! We gambled each night and met the great bartender at the casino bar, the servers in the casino brought drinks promptly and once they knew you were gambling in the area would come back and check if you needed anything and most importantly given the times, hotel workers were constantly cleaning the casino surfaces/slots. It was fabulous. Thanks again to Samantha for making our birthdays special and for a great experience. We will be back and have another great option when we don’t want to make the trip to Ocean or Resorts Casino which is our usual go to for gaming and staying.

This hotel is beautiful, very tasteful with simple artwork and the rooms are immaculate. From check in to departure everything ran very smoothly. This was our third overnight visit and we absolutely love it. The casino itself has everything you need from brand new slots to traditional table games to sports betting and a sports bar to enjoy your professional sports while having a bite to eat. Everyone is always very pleasant and willing to answer your questions from the person at the check in desk,to security, to the slot attendants, and the clean team. I have not experienced one rude person which is really amazing considering it is new and everyone visiting must be bombarding the staff with questions about this new facility. Overall I would rate it a 10 as we have always had an incredible time while visiting and we look forward to our return visit shortly.

The hotel room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The casino was clean, and there were plenty of places to eat(breakfast is limited but they have it every day now).

My only complaint was checking in. Check in is at 4pm and my husband and I arrived at 530, the earliest we could get there, and our room wasn't ready yet. We were going to a sixers game with friends and needed to settle in and change before we left, but we didnt get that opportunity. We ate at a restaurant and still never got the text that our room was ready. We went back to the check in desk at 645 and they gave us our room key. I asked for a later check out the next day since we were inconvenienced and the representative said he'd give us a late check out. It made me feel better until the next day housekeeping came to the door at 10 am and I immediately received a text about checking out. The time to check out said 11, and not 12, so the rep did not even give me the small victory based on an inconvenience.

The location was great, but I would hesitate to book if I needed my hotel room at a specific time. The atmosphere in the casino is fun, especially after a sporting event, and there are a lot of positives, just be careful if you are on a time crunch. It feels almost like they want to make you to wait for your room so you spend money in the casino...but we were just annoyed.

We were in town for medical needs at Penn Medicine and to enjoy a Phillies game and some gambling in our down time. This new hotel casino is in the perfect location for us on all counts. Samantha, the front desk clerk, went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our every question was answered and every need met. The deluxe king room was clean and comfortable, offering upscale bedding and room amenities. Parking in the spacious and well-patrolled & lighted parking deck was included in our stay. Our only disappointment was in the area of food & beverage. The coffee machines in the room are Nespresso machines. We prefer drip coffee or Keurig machines. The Termini coffee/pastry shop also offered only espresso based coffee. We feel that this location needs a Starbucks and a sit-down breakfast cafe on-site in addition to the food court options and Social Bar & Grille and fine dining offerings to make it a true 5 star experience.

Stayed in the presidents suite this past wkend n I have to say how disappointed I was with the room.
1000.00 for a night n I was so surprised that the room had no cutlery to be able to eat any meals in the room. Had food n desserts brought back to the room n had to eat like cavemen with no napkins or utensils.
Also went to the sports social for food while watching the basketball gm n we waited a hour for my buddys cheesesteak after we already had our apps brought out. Was told sorry for the delay to be only told 15mins later/1hr 15mins later that the kitchen ran out of steak..
so we canceled the steak n just ate the apps then bill comes n the steak n no credit was made towards the bills. Now I’m not one looking for the fee ride as u can see I paid 1000 for the room, but I do expect a certain level of service when u do pay for upper class status. I had 4 businessmen in the presidential suite n there wasn’t a sleeping quarters for one of us. We had to call up for a portable bed that came up needless to say, my boss is a big guy n that didn’t go over well for him.. This is my 4th time at the hotel n each time there was a issue but like I said I’m not one to complain but after spending this kind of money for a room n trying to impress my boss n his clients didn’t go as expected.
Wish u guys luck in the future n hope changes could be made for future visitors

Mr. Herbert Wise

If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know there are certain “musts” that a room has to have in order to get a good rating for me. Those things are easy parking, a safe in the room, large glass shower, flatscreen TV, and a sitting area. This hotel/casino checks all those boxes. In fact, there are many thoughtful amenities here, such as the high quality of the towels and the soaps, a bench by the closet to put on your shoes, ample places to charge, two phones, and a barn door for the bathroom. I’m starting to get used to the idea of giving up on carpeted rooms and convincing myself that hard floors in a hotel room are more sanitary. Our room was clean, but my only complaint about this place at all was that the room had not been used in a while after being cleaned and there was a few dust bunnies on the floor. Otherwise, the room gets top grades. The casino is pretty good, not the quality of Atlantic City, but pretty good. And the restaurants are adequate. This hotel/casino is a great option if you want to stay in Philadelphia to attend a sporting event or to check out the local culture. We did both.
Speaking of sporting events, some of the rooms have a nice view of the Philadelphia stadiums or the Philly skyline. Our room had a less than spectacular view of the bridge and the Philadelphia Phillies security building, but we didn’t care. Another major plus was the super friendliness of the staff.

We stayed at the Live Casino & Hotel for a Phillies game. The location for a game is unparalleled. It's just a hop, skip, and a jump to Citizen's Bank Park and if you're lucky you can get a view of the stadium from the hotel.
When we arrived we were checked in quickly and had a nice talk with the front-desk clerk, he even showed us to the elevator. We had booked a package to get $50 in food and $50 in casino money. After the game we had gone to the casino to spend the $50 but the card we were given didn't work. When we asked an employee she didn't know what we were talking about and informed us to speak to the hotel so we ended up talking to someone at the front desk who got it straightened out.
I wasn't sure exactly how to order room service, which was a drawback since I was hungry after I came home from the game. There was no phone number and the tablet that was in the room was not charged so I ended up just eating snacks I had brought. It would've been nice to have been able to eat some real food but it wasn't a huge problem.
The room was wonderful and despite being close to the airport, it was extremely quiet. It was very clean and nice and I felt very relaxed while in the room.
There's breakfast in one of the bars in the mornings, which is a little pricey but we did have the $50 so that package was worth it. The person who served the breakfast was so nice and accommodating.
Overall, I had a great time at this hotel and would definitely return. It was a great stay and perfect for seeing a game!

There are few times where you are taken such good care of that you want to leave an amazing review.

The Live! Philadelphia Hotel and Casino has been absolutely amazing for my wife and I. This was our first time here and we cannot wait to come back. We were here to celebrate my wife’s 35th birthday and I feel like the red carpet has been rolled out the entire time. The customer service has been nothing short of incredible.

Our check-in took less than 5 minutes when I was taken care of at the counter by Dimitry Kalashnik, ID # 14210 Z.

Dimitry welcomed us and asked if we were celebrating anything special. When I told him it was my wife’s birthday, he went well above and beyond to do anything he could to make our experience the best. He asked my room preferences, view preferences and got us a great wide view of both the city and and the stadiums. Right there at the check-in counter he told me about the food options and made us a dinner reservation at the steakhouse. I asked him if a bottle of house Prosecco could be sent to the room; and it wasn’t handled immediately.

At our room, it was clean and beautiful with the view he described. Within 15 minutes of settling in, we had room service dropping off an ice cold bottle of my wife’s favorite Prosecco.

After relaxing a bit, we made our way down to the casino to party and gamble a little. The casino floor was very clean with plenty of tables and games. At dinner time we went to the “Prime Rib” steak house and had Ronnie, ID# 16554 Z as our server. He thoroughly explained the specials as well as made recommendations on apps and drinks. I probably had the best old fashioned I’ve ever drank. The aged Kansas City steak came out terrific and we ate every last bit of it. At the end of dinner, Ronnie came over and brought my wife’s favorite dessert (the Fruit Tart) which we completely destroyed. Larry Gardner, the general manager of “The Prime Rib” stopped by and made sure everything was good. We let him know how special the day was because of their service. We told Larry how terrific the Caviar was and we loved Ronnie’s beverage recommendations.

I ran into Patrick, a floor casino boss (unknown ID) who was very friendly and told me all about the casino. He let me know about other properties closer to our home (Northern Virginia) and recommended we check out the Anne Arundel Live!

I saw Dmitry a second time today and he asked to make sure everything was good. He let me know that he was here all night and to call him with anything we needed.

Dmitry, Ronnie, and Larry truly went above and beyond as well as every server, bartender, and dealer we’ve interacted with.

WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!
Go eagles.

There is no direct bus connection from 30th Street Station. You have to take 2 SEPTA buses or trains to get to the Casino and then you still have to walk to the Live! Casino. Check Google Maps for best way to get there.
