I drove from NYC to look at few investment properties to buy in Philly this past Sunday 8/14/16 and booked the "Turquoise" room at Pilgrim's Rest B&B. I got to the B&B around 8:15pm; all I wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. Donna the owner wanted to show me where the room was and said...

We had the pleasure of being there last week. The home is well maintained, beautifully landscaped and in a very relaxing setting. The hosts made it a very pleasurable experience. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We appreciated them sharing their home with us!

The hosts were really solicitous, and the b&b is in a nice residencial neighborhood. I was in a room on the second floor that was really cozy, and the bathroom, that is shared with others guests from the same floor, wasn't a problem for me. My room had towels, some chocolates, microwaves, tv and frigobar. And the wifi worked really...

My wife and I have stayed at quite a few Bed & Breakfasts, this one lacked the whole experience and feel that one comes to expect and appreciate. This is a newer typical single family home that you share with the hosts. Usually, the host(s) will live in a separate part of a much older and unique home, not so...

I was with my wife at Pilgrim's Rest Bed & Breakfest for almost three weeks and it was very special. The place is cozy and very kind and has helpful hosters. We stayed in a large room with sofa, writing desk, fridge, microwave and a very comfortable bed. Sharing the bathroom did not bring any difficulties. Near the house we...

I already reviewed this "bed and breakfast" on Yelp but wanted to comment that we were in one of the upstairs rooms until we choose to move o the basement because I had reserved a queen which our room was not . The owner told me someone had just left the basement that morning so not sure why "it wasn't...

Maybe the upstairs rooms in this place are ok, but the basement rooms are pretty yucky. They're messy, musty, dark, not very clean, and the bathroom is a trial. There were used (by someone else) bars of soap in the shower stall, 1/2 used sample size shampoos and stuff in the bathroom. There was a bottle of shampoo under one...

Thank you for your review and we appreciate your business. I am very, very sorry you feel this way about the Bed and Breakfast. I am not sure which guest you are but I think you were here with your sister who also gave us an unsatisfactory review. As I told here, I was doing you a favor by trying...

I thought the pictures looked nice. Nice area of town, cute bedrooms. We were put in a musty basement furnished with worn out cast offs. One small bathroom for 3 rooms with potentially 8 people, with remnants of toiletries from years past. And a soap container with a bible verse. Not particularly clean, and not particularly charming. You could hear...

Thank you for your review and we appreciate your business. I am very, very sorry you feel this way about the Bed and Breakfast. I was doing you a favor by trying to accommodate you with a very last minute reservation. My upstairs rooms, which are the rooms I usually put my guests in, were taken so all I had...
