Despite the fact that weekend staff was not top notch in service, it was a good place to stay. Literally on the campus of Temple University, you might think it's closed to outsiders, but it's not. It's even pet friendly. Bathroom was huge with a Jacuzzi tub plus breakfast. Parking was a bit of a headache being about 2 blocks...

Nice small hotel. great staff who try to make your stay as easy as possible. great cookies in the afternoon, weak breakfast. Parking available, but not great, really small spaces in an alley behind the hotel. if driving there use your smallest vehicle. Right in the middle of temple univ. really only reason to stay here would be to visit...

When visiting Temple University, this is a great convenience. Literally on campus, with a few eateries (college type, not fancy) yards away. The price is good, and the staff tries to make your stay pleasant. They have large rooms and comforable beds, the bathrooms leave a bit to be desired but still acceptable. Not a luxury hotel at all, but...

Excellent small hotel in the center of Temple Campus university in Philadelphia. Quiet, clean, confortable, safe. Easy access from town center ( 8 minutes by subway, station at 200 yards) and from airport ( 40 minutes by direct train, station at 400 yards). Nice staff. Grand room and grand bathroom. During the day some noise in the street by the...

Large and clean rooms and bathroom. The location is also very good (it is the only hotel inside Temple Univ). Cookies and fresh coffee from 3 to 6 pm was a nice surprise. The only issue was the wifi internet connection, that is usually too slow.

This is an inn on Temple University campus. The building is charming, and the room was nice, clean, and had a great bathroom and shower. The inn offers a straightforward continental breakfast in the mornings until 10, has cookies in the afternoon, and coffee/tea all day. The people working behind the counter were helpful. It was very quiet, although that...

Very nice hotel, very clean, nice staff. Definitely reserve the parking spot they offer. Also, be sure to read the directions on the web site and not rely on your GPS. We had a bit of trouble finding it but when we called we got great friendly directions. We just didn't like the noise from the students walking by.

Thank you for your kind words about our hotel! Pointing out our staff and our cleanliness goes further than you could ever imagine...it's what every hotel General Manager loves to hear! I apologize if you had some difficulty finding us. We do run into that problem at times, and there's little we can do to erradicate the situation beyond trying...

My husband recently became ill and was air lifted to the Temple University Hospital. The Conwell Inn is what I called home for the next month. The accommodations were very clean and the entire stay exceeded my expectations. The room was very large and accommodated my children when they visited as well. The bathroom was large and roomy and the...

What a charming hotel located on the grounds of Temple University. Our room was unique and clean. After entering the room there were 3 steps down to the area with the two beds. There was a seating area in a bay window. The bathroom was very large compared to other hotels we stayed at on this trip. Hotel staff was...

Thank you for your comments! Charming and Unique is what we do best, and I'm glad it paid off and made a difference in your stay! I love our rooms, and I'm glad you did too. It is a blessing to have rooms as large as ours in the middle of a city, and with many of our rooms having...

Stayed at the Inn while on a trip to Independence Hall. Was really glad I stayed there. The area outside of Temple University was a little scary. The Inn literally share a wall/building (?) with campus police so we felt safe. Breakfast was adequate. The computer in reception was helpful as well as the staff. There's a 7-11 around the...

I'm very glad you stayed here too...and even happier that you enjoyed your stay! I'm glad you felt safe when you were here. In our ten year history, we've never experienced a single problem or complaint about safety...something I'm proud to say we regard very highly! We are several minutes from the bulk of the downtown hotels, but I truly...
