Nestled on the corner of a tree lined street, Cornerstone offers spacious updated luxury rooms and amenities, as well as a gourmet breakfast served daily to be enjoyed in our grand dining room or on our wrap-around porch. We are conveniently located steps from Drexel University's campus and a short walk to the University of Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Boathouse Row, the Barnes Foundation, Eastern State Penitentiary, and the Hospitals of UPenn. Center City, the Historic District, as well as the Philadelphia Convention Center are only minutes away and easily accessible by public transportation. I can't say enough about the charming and delicious Victorian Tea that my daughter and I attended at the B&B this past May. Upon arrival, we were given a tour and history of Cornerstone, then led to the lovely front porch where a tarot card reader awaited us! The owners went above and beyond with beautifully set tables in the garden, including elegant period style china tea sets. The staff were so friendly, serving us delicious varieties of teas, yummy appetizers, tea sandwiches, and last but not least, chocolate covered strawberries and lemon meringue tarts and cookies, all of which were made by the owners and staff. I highly recommend a stay at Cornerstone Bed &Breakfast. The location is convenient to touring the city, seeing shows, and so much that Phila. has to offer. I look forward to returning soon! …

We spent one night at the Cornerstone, but wish we could have stayed longer - and will be back! This place hits on all cylinders: the location is great, close to Penn and Drexel, the grounds are beautiful, the room was top notch, and the welcome was warm and genuine. Barbara and Susan were so accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. One of the best BnBs we’ve ever stayed in!

Visited the Cornerstone Inn Bed and a breakfast last Saturday for an afternoon tea that was absolutely delightful! The host and hostess, Jeff and Susan are so gracious and inviting and the food was excellent! We enjoyed champagne, a variety of croissants and sandwiches, and many wonderful desserts and teas. The rooms are pretty and are so cozy and inviting. A wonderful surprise in university city and so close to many restaurants and sites! I highly recommend this quaint treasure

Beautiful property! The Innkeeper, Barbara, was warm and welcoming. Her made to order breakfasts were very YUMMY!! Front porch is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a drink or a meal. I highly recommend a stay at the Cornerstone to all and cannot wait to come visit again.

Excellent overnight stay. Comfortable mattress. Room spotless. Lots of baked treats and tea with afternoon wine. Victorian gemütlichkeit. Easy walk to the Art museum Drexel and UPenn. Plenty of neighborhood restaurants.

My girlfriend and I had a delightful time at Cornerstone. The location is fabulous, within walking distance to so many attractions. The house is beautiful with many magnificent historical details. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were divine!

Friendly, clean, quiet and well-located. Fine breakfasts and hospitality. Nice neighborhood around Drexel University and near Art Museums . The Barnes is excellent. EZ street parking as long as you're gone midmorning till 3 or after(2hr max).

This was one of my favorite places we’ve ever stayed. The property was stunning and the rooms were comfortable and homey, but the staff is really what stood out! They were so accommodating and friendly. Not only did they facilitate an early check in, but also provided a breakfast to go when we left earlier than breakfast was served. Complimentary wine, pastries and snacks were offered. And the breakfast was PHENOMENAL. The dining room was adorably set each morning and the unique breakfasts each day were amazing and delicious. We paid for parking so we didn’t have to worry about street restrictions. It’s central to all the things we wanted to see and do in Philadelphia and the extra historical touch of this place added so much to our trip!

Barbara (the innkeeper) and her staff always make us feel at home. The location is perfect for our needs, with restaurants within walking distance, and her breakfasts are consistently amazing. Cornerstone is our first choice to stay when we come to Philly.
