Had a wonderful stay at the Monaco. They were busy with wedding parties and handled everything so smoothly. Staff was wonderful and took their time with us despite being swamped. Breakfast was great, we borrowed their bikes and it was a great way to explore the city! I recommend it.

Excellent staff and comfortable hotel Just checked out of the Monaco and had a lovely one night stay. Although carpets are a bit threadbare and the hotel could use a “freshening up” beds were so comfy, room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Rochid at the front desk made the difference between a nice stay and my rating if 5….exceptional. It’s rare to meet employees in the hotel business these days who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and appreciated…. Rochid did just that. And Gregory at the bell desk was also so very helpful and welcoming. The attitude of such staff should be recognized and encouraged as it is a rare find these days and makes all the difference.

This was the first time at the hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room had a nice view of a park and also Independence Hall. If you are a history buff, this a great location to stay! Great restaurants are also close by!

The customer service was NEXT level. Anthony M was kind/helpful from the time I arrived to the time I left. He carried my bags to my room, made me laugh, and even guessed EXACTLY where I was from (could have been the luggage tags) HAHA. overall a great location, clean rooms, fluffy pillow. Only Complaints is that the water took over 5 min to heat up on the 3rd level.

From checkin to the front door the staff are friendly and helpful!!! The location is fantastic with some rooms overlooking the Independence Hall. Nice park to hang out. The rooms are well equipped with a yoga mat for practice. There is also rooftop bar!

Fantastic staff, beautiful hotel, and great location. We come here at least once a year and the hotel never disappoints. This time we came for our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised by a room upgrade, a bottle of wine, and a bar of locally-made chocolate. It’s personal touches like these that keep us coming back to the Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia. The only negative was the attached restaurant. The Red Owl Tavern used to be a highlight of the trip, but the quality and selection of menu items seems to have really gone downhill. Our breakfast items were only so-so, honestly not much better than any chain restaurant, which is definitely not what we wanted. While we’ll definitely return to the Hotel Monaco again soon, we likely will skip the restaurant next time.

We stayed at the Monaco for my nephews three day wedding this past weekend. The hotel is located in old city and you can easily walk to the historic sites and restaurants. The onsite restaurant and bar are great! Best of all is the staff - everyone is so helpful, positive and professional!! Special shout out to Maya and Darnell!

Hotel Monaco is the best hotel in Philadelphia. It is close to everything historic, right in the center of everything you would want to see historically. We have been coming to this hotel every month for a few nights because our son has dr appointments at CHOP. Not only is it close to his drs but the staff has gone above and beyond for us, especially Roshid. He makes sure our room has a tent set up for our son and Roshid is just happy our son has a smile on his face. The valet is amazing, I have forgotten my phone in the car and they have gone back to get it, they take very good care of us when coming and going to drs appointments. The food in the restaurant is amazing and they bring it right to your room. Our son looks forward to the hot chocolate in the morning as well. The people that work here always ask us if we need ANYTHING let them know, they have made a time of worry and fear easier for us to get through this. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Monaco!!! …

Cute, whimsical decor. Friendly helpful staff. Walking distance to great restaurants & museums. Comfortable bed & gray hooded robe was amazing! Shout out to Roshid Milledge - Concierge - made my two stays in March 2023 extra special. :)
