Fun and friendly vibe, with dogs welcome and a daily happy hour! Really engaging staff who jump to help you. Great Old City location right near the Liberty Bell and National Constitution Center (my favorite museum in Philadelphia) with superb restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, hip decor. Highly recommend!

Nice, eclectic, and comfortable. It met expectations for business travel but not four star. Plus- Complimentary glass of wine in the evening and hot chocolate in the morning. The bottled water outside mini bar was $8! Disappointing. Makeup mirror in bathroom +, but the water never quite got hot enough for me. Bottom line nice but with pros and cons.

We stayed at the Kimpton Monaco during the weekend of the Philadelphia marathon. The hotel, on the corner of 5th and Chestnut is in the center of the historic district, a very convenient location. The rooms are nice size and all decorated differently; not a cookie-cutter chain hotel. The lobby has a lovely fireplace for sitting and chatting and the... More

From a view of Independence Hall to the cheetah robe to the copy of Alice in Wonderland in the room, I absolutely loved my stay. I slept like a baby both nights I was there—would love to know the secret of that amazing bed. We also had a meeting room booked and Anthony assisted us with food/beverages throughout the two... My daughter and I stayed at Monaco Philadelphia on 11/20. The location on Chestnut Street is fantastic! Across the street from the Liberty Bell and We even had a Ben Franklin sighting! The hotel appeared extremely busy. The valet and check in was very quick and efficient. The decor from the ship chandelier in the entry to the extremely cool... More

Delightful as soon as you walk through the front doors! Reception is highly courteous and friendly. They were able & willing to let us check in a little early so we could freshen up before walking around. We had a king spa room. The decor was tasteful, the tub was huge and the service friendly. The bed was average for a hotel bed. They could a duvet upgrade in the rooms, and the down blanket was a little flimsy. Hotel staff were extremely friendly. Great location if you're planning on staying for a long visit in Philadelphia.

Our arrival with family to take 3 rooms was marred by a new receptionist, first week on the job, mislabeling one of our booked rooms, and sending an attendant and I to an uncleared room 5 floors away from the rest of the family. My wife had left me earlier with a wrong room key and I panicked finding trying... More

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a long business trip as a treat to ourselves. We booked a king room with spa bath on a good offer and it was so worth it! It may seem absurd to pay extra for a bath but when you've been travelling for a month with only showers it really... More
