The location was perfect! Would stay there again. The room we checked into had an odd odor, so we went to the front desk. Chris R. went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and showed us another room to move to. He met with us, understood our concerns, and made sure our request was quickly taken care of. Thank you, Chris! The parking garage the hotel guests use is the same as the Reading Markets uses. It included in/out privileges, but definitely push "hourly rate" when you first arrive. They will then switch that out with a pass with a barcode to use during guest stay. Lots of attractions are close by and also a subway entrance is within a block. We only used the in/out privileges to go to South Street and the Ben Franklin bridge. We were very pleased.

Very bad experience! Never again, dirty rooms, front desk was very rude , due arrived late to check in 9pm, explained my situation but we never minded, breakfast should be 6 to 9 am , but they don’t refill anymore at 8:15 and is over is over, request many times hot water during evening, but they said is only for breakfast, not for all day 🙃

We changed rooms twice because the first one was as dirty, but the second one was even disgusting. We could write our names on the shelves. The air filter was disgusting, and we had to clean everything ourselves the next morning because it was already too late when we checked in, and we were too tired from driving all the way from Orlando, Fl and change room again and again. At this point, clearly every room was dirty like that. We had two families and different rooms, which were the same; my sister also changed rooms, and it was as dirty as mine. It was on its 30 degrees, and the the city was freezing. Guess what! The heat was not working! We wanted to cancel the rooms and go to another hotel, but they wouldn't give us any refund or other solution, such as only sending someone to clean. As you can see from the sign right by the elevator, according to the company, if something is not right, they will make it right: lies!! We contacted Hilton corporation, and they said they could do nothing and that people in the hotel would come to talk to us before we left. No one from the hotel ever came to speak to us or gave us a call. We followed up on the phone with Hilton corporation, and they said they would call us the next day. After one week, we just followed up, and apparently, the CEO, Racine, according to her, she was the most important person to talk to, and she was very RUDE. They just wanted to give us points to stay with them again. This hotel offers horrible service! And cleaning? They do not even know what it is.…

I am giving a four because our room was extremely clean and comfortable and ultimately, the room is what I’m reviewing. With that being said, our room wasn’t ready until almost 5:30. The pool is tiny and never had clean towels, if it were being utilized by more than a couple families, good luck. I also went to the gym. Good equipment, however, only one of the treadmills turned on, the bike worked but resistance wouldn’t set and only one elliptical was working. If you aren’t looking for any of the amenities then you’re fine staying here. The breakfast had a lot of great selections for the whole family. I really want to give a lower rating for the check in issues and the way the staff really didn’t seem to care but if you’re looking for a nice, clean room with great location to shopping and all of the historical sights this is definitely a great hotel. …

Horrible!!!!!! The lobby staff was amazing loved them!!! House keeping manager talks very nasty to u so please don’t ask Her to do HER job! They said the needed to do a wellness check she and the general man came in my room and talked down to me while making me feel less of a person because I have a condition and had trouble controlling certain things….she was saying nasty remark while looking at the sheets abs covers which made me feel low and embarrassed.I was treated horrible

Excellent stay. I used to be a frequent flyer at this Hotel since it opened, but after a few bad experiences, I switched to another Hilton property in Philly. Well I needed to stay close to City Hall this week, and had to stay at the H2S and I'm glad I did. I met Gerrell, and his new staff and he/they are great. Gerrell & staff went out of their way to make me happy, and that isn't easy to do. After multiple bad experiences at this Hotel, I'll be back knowing there's a new Sheriff at this location that actually cares about guest satisfaction. It's been 5+ years maybe more since this hotel had staff that cared. PS - 2 quick notes: 1. When I got back to the hotel around 8:30-9pm Gerrell was still there assisting guests. 2. I could do without some guy yelling at me at 5:45am as I was almost out the door yelling to me ( with my back turned to him) " are you checking out "? Is it really that important that you know this at 5:45am? …

We really enjoyed our stay at the Home 2 Suites. I don't know who thinks the hotel is dirty, but our room was immaculate and so roomy. The location can't be beat. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip.

I am a Diamond HHonors member. Stayed for the Flower Show right across the street. Front desk service was excellent (Gerrell). Room was clean and comfortable. Was upgraded one room level but had no view to speak of other than heating and AC equipment in the center of the building. Parking is very convenient but pricey ($112 for two days). Plenty of elevators. The self-serve breakfast was just so-so. Similar to what you'd get at a Hampton Inn. It is amazing how much is within one mile of this place.

Comfortable one-night stay to visit the flower show across the street. The suite was big enough to accommodate the family of four. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient with all usual meals available. The staff was welcoming and responsive. The self in-and-out parking is conveniently provided by the adjacent independent garage at a steep price - $56 per night (of course, plenty of cheaper parking options are available in the downtown)
