In town for a family wedding, most all of the family stayed here. Our room was on the lower level and fairly comfortable, while others had limited cooling. It was hot - in the 90's. Breakfast consisted of a basket set out the evening before. It included slices of things in baggies and fruit. If you were late getting to...

Bella Vista B&B is located a 10 - 15 mintute walk from the main tourist area of Philly and is a 5 minute walk from a Little Italy suburb, some of the south side streets (for great local food) and a 5 minute walk from 2 supermarkets a Wholefoods and a local one. If you like walking you can get...

The photos made this B&B look rather elegant but it is as far from it as Ben Franklin is to being a British loyalist. My opinion: skip this place immediately and find a bed and breakfast that's really a B&B. This isn't. I have debated whether to post my photos of the peeling paint in our room, the duct taped...

First I loved this hotel, I've never been in any hotel like this, but please don't let any money in the room. Unexplainable things are going on there. All the money I had in my purse disappeared from a locked room but the owner assured me that it is not possible that any of her employees was in the room!

My husband and I stayed in the AUTUMN MIST ROOM #111. It was on the second flor, facing the street. It was a huge room, huge bathroom, the bathtub with a jacuzzi, and a small kitchenette. i loved getting the small pastries and bagels and fruits in the morning, then bringing it up to our room so that we could...

Our experience at Bella Vista was very disappointing. We had two apartments--nice and spacious--both on the upper floor. The location was great--and the idea of the place fits us perfectly--we would just as soon have the "serve yourself" style B&B. And we're fine with mix-and-match "funky" furnishings, old homes, etc. But there are a few things that would definitely 1)...

This was our second stay at the Bella Vista B&B in 5 years--both times just as the streets were festooned with cherry blossoms. This spot now has 2 townhouses on a quiet little street a few blocks from the heart of the Italian Market district. Our sunny yellow room was delightful, and had a double and a single so we...

I recently stayed at Bella Vista with my husband, my daughter and her husband and a friend. First off this Bed and Breakfast is not for everyone. If you do no care for antiques and eclectic design, if you prefer the decor of most boring hotels don't go here. I personally loved the decor and BEAUTIFUL large rooms, I adore...

Well it had a "bed" but it was so uncomfortable that I slept on the floor. It had "breakfast" but that consisted of a 2 pieces of bread in a plastic bag left in a bowl in the hallway.
