This hotel is an a great location. It is old and appears to be sort of falling apart. The TV did not work very well. It is extremely small, barely much room outside the bed to move around too much, I would not recommend this hotel for a family, but I was travelling solo and just needed a place to...

It's cheap and in a fantastic location, the bar is good price, the ac in the room blows cold what more could you ask for. It's centrally located for what I needed half way between the stadiums and the city. Super friendly staff and a fun place to stay.

Before I expand on the title, let me just say the positive: the staff were great! We arrived sometime in the evening which was to be our last night stay in the US before heading back to the UK, and the gentleman greeted us was extremely helpful. We dumped our bags in our place, and then went out exploring the...

My family and I stayed in the "condo", two blocks away from the main hotel. The place was so dirty there was dust, hair and grime on EVERYTHING! The kitchen and coffee maker were caked with crap, the shower plugged so no one could use it (who knows what was plugging it) and my daughter found chewed up gum on...

I can confirm what so many reviewers have written before. The place is a total dump. There is mold everywhere in the shower. The sink was leaking on the floor. The carpet was encrusted and filthy. It looked like it was there when Ben Franklin roamed the streets. The bed is way too small for two healthy, slim people and...

When we checked in, we were told Society Hill is the oldest hotel in Philadelphia, built while Ben Franklin was still alive. I don't think any maintenance has been done since then. The shower alternated from freezing to scalding. It couldn't be turned off, and dripped all night. There was mildew and peeling, cracked caulking in the shower. When any...

My daughter and I stayed three nights at this hotel. It is the worst hotel we have ever had. We chose this hotel because of its convenient location and its cheaper price compared with other hotels nearby. We still paid 100 dollars per night. A hotel can be old, small, but it has to be clean. This hotel is filthy....

Despite the negative reviews, we had a nice stay here! The staff were friendly and accomodating. It's an old building and not in the best shape -- our window was cracked, there were some loose tiles and some outlets/lamps out of order. There was also a little mustiness, as you'd expect from an old building. But all that is the...

The staff is nice, but the room service is inexistent, I slept for 5 days and only one day someone did my room. The room was rather poor and little dirty. For what-you-pay and what-you-get, it is a very expensive hotel.
