Supposedly the most haunted building in Gettysburg. Don't know as we had no experiences. It is, however, possibly the most interesting place to stay in Gettysburg. We stayed in the Sweney Room. It was quiet and comfortable with a good shower. The included breakfast is outstanding. For a truly unique experience try the game pie and goober peanut soup. On...

Went for a luncheon meeting. Food and service were fabulous. I had the soup and sandwich special. Homemade tomato bisque was delicious. The Inn is beautiful as well. Definitely recommend for business or leisure.

We had a great night at the Farnsworth house. We had spend 3 days in D.C. and wanted to stop by Gettysburg for a night to top off our "edu-vacation" The inn keepers were very friendly and informative about the surround locations. We went on a ghost tour through the house and the battlefields. I love these types of things...

As a friend and psychic medium of the Farnsworth House, I happen to be well-known here due to my abilities. I have stayed overnight a few times and hope to stay again. Every time I visit Gettysburg, PA, a town I love, something always happens, and it never ceases to amaze me. I've had many different encounters for as long...

We went to have a ghost tour and get Away. The Ghost Tour Guide failed to show up. the room was dusty and we had to fix the toilet twice ourselves. We were very disappointed. We also did the Mourning Tour which was okay but kinda disappointing also. Dinner at Sweeney's (on SIte) was very nice and fair priced. We...

My husband and I are amateur ghost hunters so while visiting relatives in Gettysburg we booked a night at this historic inn. We were impressed with the period furnishings in the McFarland room and were told a few stories by the young lady who led us upstairs. The bedside table had accounts of past guests experiences with coins stacking themselves,...

They make much to do about this bring haunted, but that's it. The food is average. The place is certainly not haunted. All of the beds are 18th century style and very high. Not good for older people or infirmed who don't want to climb high. The Lincoln room has no door for the bathroom. The staff was friendly. I...

I stopped in the Farnsworth House with my lady friend for a drink after a day of sightseeing in Gettysburg. Oh boy, was it a mistake. The bartender was absolutely terrible. Let me elaborate. First, when we sat down at the bar, we waited a long time to be greeted and served. Second, the bartender was loudly discussing her problems...

Stayed in the Jennie Wade room which was comfortable and filled with period decorations. There are journals filled with writings of experiences of past guests that are interesting to read, you can add to them if so inclined. Breakfast, included in the price, was enjoyed in the dining room. Eggs over easy, toast, bacon and home fries were delicious. Coffee...

Every visit has been phenomenal! The food is consistently delicious and with generous portions. The staff are pleasant, friendly, and accommodating, reflecting the ambiance of the historic character of the Inn and the town itself. During the warmer months there's a wonderful, cobbled outside area to enjoy your meals. The inside reflects even more of gracious dining. The prices are...
