We recently stayed at the James Getty Hotel and had a wonderful time. Both our room and the hotel were bright, beautiful and clean. We found the staff to be, not only accommodating but warm and personable. The excellent location of the hotel added to our enjoyable experience. We are looking forward to returning.

We spent an overnight here seeking an introduction to the Gettysburg Military Park and environs. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the accommodations were complete and comfortable, and we appreciated the location right off the "square" in the center of town. The room was quiet, but it was too warm, despite attempts to adjust the thermostat. We definitely would recommend...

Very nice hotel with extremely pleasant front desk staff. The continental breakfast brought to the room was delicious and much appreciated. The afternoon snacks were a welcome treat. It's located a very short walk from restaurants and shops in the center of town.

We were excited to stay here as it was rated so highly. The noise from the street and the rooms was very annoying and loud on Friday night. Saturday was a little quieter, but you could hear people's conversations. The room is large with a little kitchen, living area, and bedroom. It is convenient to the town and restaurants. There...

Dear Guests, Thank you very much for your recent stay with us and for writing a review! We are always looking to improve ourselves and find guest comments very helpful. Right up front, I have to make a personal apology for your breakfast. I was working on the Saturday evening of your trip and accidentally switched your breakfast basket with...

Overall this is a very nice small hotel located steps away from the town square (circle/roundabout) in downtown Gettysburg. We stayed in the Keystone suite. The hotel is centrally located with free parking for guests. Limited metered parking is available throughout the town. The hotel and staff were very nice. The only issues we had were an internet wifi outage...

After a long day touring the battlefield we checked into the James Getty. Wonderful downtown location. The second day we walked to all the town sites, museums, shops, and restaurants, never needing our car that was in the hotels own lot. Fresh baked basket of breakfast breads and muffins was a nice touch. The two room suite was perfect for...

My wife and I stayed in the "Majestic Suite" (named for a local theater) at the Gettys Hotel in October 2014. The suite is, in a word, huge, the furnishings very clean and comfortable, and the entire experience was absolutely a quality stay. The first room upon entering the suite combines a TV/living area and desk with a counter and...

This is a very cute hotel. The location is walking distance to the town square (1/2 block). The room itself was very clean and the breakfast already in your room when you arrive was so nice. Every day we had fresh orange juice, pastries and cream for our coffee. Our room was a 1 bedroom, with a small kitchen. There...

We really loved staying at this hotel. Our suite was great and included a separate living room with TV, stove and fridge. Every day they would deliver a snack (cookies or apples) and breakfast for the next morning (pastries, OJ, cream for coffee). It was such a nice touch! The location was perfect. We could walk easily to everything downtown...
