As Father of the Bride, I was a bit skeptical but soon found out that the venue my Daughter picked lived up to expectations and more!! The three day event was something that our families and friends will remember and want to reflect on for some time. Debbie and her staff are Premium!!!

My husband found & booked us at the Battlefield B&B for 2 nights/3 days, for a mini-vacation on his 4 days of leave from the army. We were really impressed and loved our time there, from our friendly greeting on arrival with fresh lemonade & homemade cookies to the cozy bedrooms with en suite bathroom; the historic farmhouse with morning...

Haunted or not, this B&B became home for two families presenting a long weekend event to celebrate the marriage of their sons, one from New Jersey and one from Tennessee, living together in Manhattan. The Innkeepers, Debbie and Florence, were vital to the success of the events being hosted on their thirty lovely acres of rustic charm. Civil War history...

We chose this location because it welcomed dogs. As a family, we typically do not stay in B&Bs but decided to treat ourselves. We were not let down! There are 10 different rooms to choose from and yet the house is so quiet. We absolutely loved all aspects of this home; the decor, the history, Florence & Debbie, the food,...

I have never been so excited to review a place! I can't wait to go back! Florence and Debbie host a wonderful establishment. It's beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, and fun. This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience and we loved it. We went for a paranormal event and it was a blast. The group hosting the event seemed to have...

We stayed here a decade ago and considered this place top notch. This time we were disappointed with breakfast with its burnt toast and just didn't feel as welcomed. Not greeted by the inn keeper at breakfast, more like this was a business transaction instead of a warm welcoming place. Hard to explain. Just didn't meet our expectations or what...

To celebrate my daughter's 13th BDay, I took her and 4 of her friends/cousins to the Battlefield B&B. Debbie, Cookie and Jerrin were AMAZING hostesses. Jerrin bakes homemade chocolate chip cookies which were extremely delicious. We stayed in the 2 rooms on the bottom level which allowed the girls to have some freedom to act like teenagers(although they were very...

I am very pleased to hear that you and the girls had a great time staying with us in Anna's Garden and Houghtelin's Hideaway! It was a pleasure hosting all of you. I hope to see you all again soon.

Have stayed here three times and each visit gets better than the last. Very attentive to detail and the meals are very good. Nice people who run the inn and offer interesting interpretations of the Gettysburg historical events.

My husband and I stayed only one night here but it was wonderful. Comfy room with a great shower or tub. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The morning history talk was very informative but not dry and stuffy - a lot of fun. Then after the talk, an exquisite breakfast. A very nice place to stay.

My wife and I stayed in the "tack room", for two days and nights at the Gettysburg Battlefield Bed and Breakfast on the 25th and 26th of December 2015. The owners were very attentive and very gracious hosts. The "tack room" has a jacuzzi, has an extra large shower, and is located in an 1805 barn. The room has the...

I am very happy to hear that you and your wife enjoyed your stay in the Tack Room. The barn was actually built by the Houghtelin family after the house was built in 1809. The barn's construction would have taken place between 1810 and 1820. Regardless, I hope to see you and your wife again in the near future for...

Unique lodging in an 1809 Civil War farmhouse on 30 private acres of the Gettysburg Battlefield. The farmhouse caters to history fans and vacationers with children and pets. Garden, Solarium, and Historic Barn Venue weddings and events are a specialty. Swan Cottage is a separate house with two jetted tubs and a full kitchen.
