I was a bit cautious, as I usually stay in expensive hotels. Sands Motel is lovely, and on par if not better than the overpriced places. Very clean. Service was lovely and very helpful. Rooms are large and yet cozy. Great place, would definitely recommend.
Each afternoon we chose where to stop on Route 66 and we were pleased to have chosen the Sands Motel - It offered great history with a clean and well appointed room at a reasonable price.
