For the past three years now, a volunteer group of 12 people from my university has come and stayed at the Cimarron Rose for a week in January. While using the Cimarron Rose as a base, our group travels in the Grants/Gallup area to perform health screens for children at different Head Start sites on the Navajo Reservation. Our group...

Thank you so much Claire for taking the time (which is precious) to write this wonderful review. I'm so happy to know that everyone enjoyed their stay with us. As I often say, I'm happy when our guests are happy". Please let me know if you have any suggestions, etc. as you and your group of students would most definitely...

Was lucky enough to land in a room here during a night on my stay exploring the local national parks and absolutely fell in love with this B&B. Sheri is a beautiful person with an amazing spirit and it shows in her accommodations. The room was homey, warm, and wonderfully kept. The gardens and surrounding land are equally as beautiful...

We were visiting the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary and wanted to stay someplace close. This was like a dream. There are three suites, each equally charming, on beautiful grounds with 2 goats and a horse, much loved. There is a lovely little shop and gallery with VERY good prices on Zuni fetishes, sculpture and a small amount of jewelry. One...

Cimarron Rose is located in the middle of the forest. Birds, squirrels and rabbits are familiar. We stayed three nights in the Bandera suite, very spacious, well equipped and clean. It has a nice patio where we had dinner. Breakfast comes at 9 am and it is big enough for lunch, too. The gallery has interesting art crafts and rugs....

I spent hours watching birds at the feeders and gardens here, as well as wandering through the healthy Ponderosa forest surrounding the B&B, where there was also an abundance of birds, including many species that don't come to feeders. Sherri, the owner and host, has put together a fine photo album of the local wildlife, with lists of birds she's...

Stayed here with my sister while exploring the El Morro area. We rented the Zuni Mountain Suite, as we wanted separate bedrooms. It was liking having our own beautifully decorated home. The suite included a full kitchen, which is good because, although breakfast is provided (and very good it was), other meals are not, and there are few dining options...

This is a fabulous place to stay. It was peaceful, comfortable, and Sherri is an excellent host. The breakfasts were delicious and the accommodations were very warm and functional. We initially debated about staying at this B & B because of the cost but it was definitely well worth the price. It is highly recommended and would definitely stay here...

First class rooms, kitchens, and grounds. Sherri is an excellent cook and provides a delicious full breakfast. It is a great location for visiting the lands, parks, monuments, and pueblos nearby. It is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. There is a friendly horse and two goats. A great spot to bird watch, including hummers. Sherri provides the nature guides too.

Sherri runs a first class operation. The quarters are nicely appointed, comfortable, and secluded among ponderosa pines. She offers gourmet breakfasts and gratis deserts. Each unit has a lovely private garden space. The furnishings are appealing, colorful and functional. -- Donald Levering & Jane Shoenfeld
