What a lovely Arts & Crafts Praire-style house which added to the charm of this B&B... but it was the hosts, Tom and Ila Rae, who made our stay so enjoyable! My husband and I stayed two nights last week and felt very welcomed by them. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts! Part of our visit included an evening at the...

We came into Jacksonville to visit my daughter and see my new Grandson. Typically I have stayed in hotels when visiting but decided to give this B&B a try. The Jenks House far surpassed my expectations! Tom and Ila Rae were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. The home is in amazing condition, with beautiful oak floors...

My husband and I moved to Florida this past week and needed a comfortable, safe, quiet place to stay on our long journey. The Jenks House proved all of those things and more. Tom and Ila Rae, the owners, were lovely and extremely accommodating. The rooms were clean, fresh and spacious and the entire home was a beautiful historic retreat....

Before a recent trip to Florida, I was challenged when trying to find accommodations for one night in Jacksonville. Not because there were few hotel rooms available but because I wanted a place that was charming, comfortable and a little bit different than the average hotel room. We booked a room at The Jenks House Bed and Breakfast and enjoyed...

The house is beautiful, my room was quite nice, and there was a lovely sunroom for reading. The house is about 3 miles from downtown Jacksonville and about 1 mile from the...

The home is very charming! The details that Tom and Ila Rae maintained of the original features of the home were beautiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Speaking of Tom and Ila Rae, they are a delight! Such quirky, kind hosts. And their attention to detail is impeccable. We asked for breakfast including fruit and veggies, and boy, did...

Our evening at the Jenks House was one of our vacation highlights. Tom and Ila Rae are so warm and friendly. They joined us for breakfast and we learned a lot about the history of the area and the home that they have lovingly restored. Breakfast was tasty and included orange juice fresh squeezed from the garden and coffee made...

We are currently staying here and this is a place that really makes you feel like your home away from home. Had freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh oranges from the back yard, home roasted coffee from Tom and amazing chocolate chip waffles. The room is HUGE and such unique antiques all throughout the house. Location is perfect for walking...

Our hopes were quickly realized as we were warmly greeted, shown to our lovely looking and spotless room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast at a beautifully set table was original and tasty. We would go to Jenks House again.
