My wife & I enjoy staying at the Astoria Riverwalk Inn when "vacationing" in Astoria. We have one certain room we stay in and we have a nice view of the bridge and of the harbor. We watch ships coming & going from our room. The room is always clean, well stocked and the bed & pillows very comfortable. We...

I would not recommend this place at all. Yes it is close to the bridge and bay area with its own little marina area, but so are other hotels/motels and I would never stay here again. They need a total makeover on everything. Sounds good on site, but out of 10 places we stayed in CA, OR and WA this...

Our group of 24 were comfy in our rooms, and delighted with the views. We used the breakfast area for a get together in the evening - played games, visited, snacked. We appreciated the breakfast the next morning as well, before we headed out on tour in our vintage vehicles.

Thank you for choosing us for your group. Having people in the lobby during the day is always nice, it makes working that much better when you can see people enjoying themselves. We hope you visit us again next time you're in Astoria.

We were taking my folks on a tour of the Oregon coast. They have mobility issues and this place worked very good for them. Rooms were spacious and clean and we enjoyed the sounds of the marina just outside the window.

We're glad to hear that we were able to accommodate your group. We try hard to keep our rooms clean and feedback like this is much appreciated. If you're ever on the Oregon Coast again we'd love to have you back.

None of the room amenities advertised were available. Beds were uncomfortable and the rooms and bathroom were not very clean. Kids enjoyed their room, we did not enjoy ours and the railing on the balcony was extremely loose.

We’re so sorry to hear that your stay with us was not as enjoyable as it could have been. We’d like to hear what amenities were unavailable to you because we’d hate to think that any of our guests missed out on our complimentary DVD’s, bike rentals, or breakfast. We recently reenforced all of our railings and have repainted all...

Great friendly service. Made sure we had wine and rose petals waiting for us on our wedding night. We will most definitely stay there again in the future! Thank you for your hospitality and for making our wedding night special!

In big need of remodeling. Everything is old and outdated. Believe it to be very overpriced for the condition of the place. They really should take some of that money and invest in remodeling. That's about. Very good location though, I guess that's the reason for the high room rates.

It is unfortunate to hear that your experience at the hotel was’t up to your standards. While we believe that the experience we have offered here has been excellent you’ll be happy to hear that we are engaged in renovations to the hotel including repainting the exterior, renovating the balconies and upgrading several of the rooms. We’d love to have...

We bought a deal from Travelocity which included a night at the Riverwalk Inn and dinner credit at a nearby restaurant. The hotel's location and amenities were great. We borrowed the bikes they have to ride along the riverwalk path. . Astoria has many great restaurants, shops, breweries, and historic sites. It was a great weekend and would love to...

We always leave Riverview feeling refreshed. Staff are friendly and know the best places to eat. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We love our times in Astoria, just a short drive email to Seaside or Cannon Beach.

So pretty to look out from our room and see the ships coming in . We were there with a family member and now wish we would have stayed longer. We only left because of the tornado that had hit Manzanita.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Originally opened as the Red Lion – Thunderbird Motor Inn and later simply as the Red Lion, the Astoria Riverwalk Inn was the town’s first waterfront hotel, established in the late 1960s. The Port of Astoria owns the facility, and in September 2015 contracted with new local ownership to assume and improve the Riverwalk Inn operations. The new ownership group is comprised of seasoned business management professionals with significant experience in commercial property development and hospitality, including the development and initial launch of the award-winning Hotel Elliott in downtown Astoria. With a new operating team in place since September 2015, literally everything is new at the Astoria Riverwalk Inn. From the luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets, redesigned dining area and lobby adorned with local, original artwork; the addition of a continental breakfast; extensive landscaping and general updates throughout (including lots of fresh paint!), guests will gain a sense of renewed care and attention to detail. Other complimentary amenities include a business center just off the lobby, upgraded high-speed Wi-Fi, a DVD library and “Beach Cruiser” bikes for exploring Astoria’s acclaimed four-mile long Riverwalk. We think you’ll find changes to the Astoria Riverwalk Inn create an inviting atmosphere for a restful stay on the waterfront. We hope to see you soon! ... more   less
