Perfect historically preserved hotel for the area. Great location, amazing rooms, and panoramic views (rooftop and some rooms). Had the most memorable cup of coffee ever on the rooftop, overlooking the Columbia River/Pacific. I did my homework on Astoria and this is really the place to be. Many of the other hotels are unkempt or too new/modern and strangely out...

I found the staff extremely helpful, and the junior suite finished to a high standard. The bed was excellent, room very clean. Breakie was standard fare, the roof top patio is lovely and there's a pool table in the basement!

The Hotel Elliott gives the impression of having been part of the glory days of old Astoria and remains a reminder of times gone by. It is set in a grand old building and the rooms are similarly elegant but a little old fashioned. They are not huge but large enough to move around. There was a very large and...

We were working our way down the coast from Seattle and just happened to stay here for the night. The room was quiet and clean and Astoria is worth looking around. Steve (?-sorry if wrong) who checked us in was a big help in suggesting places for both lunch and dinner.

Came here for an Anniversary weekend and loved it. The Hotel is lovely in it's authenticity and feel for the past with old time advertisement banner "Wonderful Beds". The beds are indeed wonderful but so are the staff, the heated floors in the bathroom, the closets with auto-on light switches when you open the door, the attached wine bar and...

Very good hotel with clean and cosy rooms and very good beds. Some even have a working fireplace and all in all a very nice atmosphere. The view from the top is very very good. Breakfast a bit disappointing because very very small variety for a "Buffett".

This is a charming renovated old historical hotel in the middle of downtown Astoria. Our room was very clean, small for the price but had lots of windows and a nice view. We were visiting when the outside temp was in the 50s/60s so we needed use the heating, which was powerful but lacked a thermostat; resulting in the room...

This hotel is beautiful and reasonable. We just stopped in on a whim and we're sold the minute we walked into the lobby. It is centrally located in the heart of Astoria town with restaurants close enough to walk and a cool town. Parking was free and easy too. Breakfast included!

We've been curious about the history and downtown location of Hotel Elliott, but normally stay at Cannery Pier. We made reservations last year to be there for the Astoria Crab, Seafood and Wine Festival. We are Oregonians and this was our first trip to the Festival, as well as the Hotel Elliott. We reserved a double queen suite, and were...

Thank you for your positive comments about our hotel. We understand the noise factor that increases during the Crab, Seafood and Wine festival. Unfortunately, it is beyond our control, and this is the only weekend of the year that this problem exists. Most attendees focus on the "Wine" portion of the festival and that lends to this raucous behavior. We...

This is a nicely restored old hotel in downtown, close to the best restaurants, events and the wharf. . Nicely appointed rooms made a great stay, and there was afternoon wine tasting when we arrived. For a view of the waterfront, the rooftop viewing area with firepit was perfect. A great continental breakfast got us ready for the day.
