Have always want to stay at this hotel, Glad I did. Very elegant and comfortable. Everything is first class right down to the wine, cheese and salmon for happy hour. The rooms are very nice as are the baths. The baths have a window that looks out into the bedroom (a little weird but different). The window in the bath...

We spent two days during the middle of the week, and they were wonderful. The view of the Columbia was fantastic. The hotel is actually built out into the channel, and the cruise ships and cargo vessels at the port pass close enough that you can read the writing on the lifeboats. We took a single king room, and found...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Relaxing and interesting. Very good staff, great views from almost everywhere and very comfortable rooms. Even the stairwells had views. Right on the Columbia River and there were all sorts of birds and sea lions right outside.

My husband and I have stayed here numerous times. The atmosphere of the lounge is great, it overlooks the Columbia River. There's a fireplace in the winter. Their breakfasts have a huge range of selections and their coffee is great. When you check in, they have warm cookies and a glass of wine. The rooms have a claw foot bathtub...

We were driving from Seattle to SFO on our long awaited road trip an Astoria was one of our stops. The Cannery Pier Hotel is a marvelous creation and I am so glad we spent my birthday night here. Although we could enjoy it just for a night , this hotel has the most breathtaking views both from the lobby...

Having worked in luxury hotels for 10+ years, inevitably, my expectations tend to be high. I can't express enough how thoroughly impressed I am with The Cannery Pier Hotel and Spa. We stumbled upon it two years ago when our day trip turned into an overnight and we needed a dog-friendly hotel. WOW! What a find! Our experience started with...

Where you sleep under the bridge and watch the world go by-seriously! Ships from around the world pass in front of your very eyes. The hotel sits 600 feet into the Columbia river under the bridge giving you an unobstructed view. Plus they have a vintage car to take you to great restaurants. We stay there at 3 times a...

Fantastic place! Everything wonderful including room and staff! From 5 to 7 was horderves and wine as a part of the stay. Also breakfast in the morning. They suggest several local restaurants and offered their car and driver to take you to and from the restaurant. Must mention car was a 1951 Packard. Both car and driver exceptional. Huge claw...

All rooms are on one side of the hotel and look out on the Columbia River. Hallways have no rooms on the beach side, but rather windows looking out on the town of Astoria. Local history pictures throughout. Lots of glass and wood feature incredible views in all the public spaces. Very friendly staff ... free classic car rides to dinner...

Not cheap, but value for the money. Where else can you sit in your bathtub and watch container ships pass by. I sat and stared out the window for hours and admired the bridge. Great staff, reasonable breakfast.
