I was in Baltimore for a conference and picked the least expensive hotel that looked the nicest. Mt. Vernon was everything I expected; clean, comfortable room and a courteous staff. It was really close to many good restaurants and was located in a quiet residential historic district.

Its not a Wyndham property anymore (as was advertised in my booking), and it shows. I had booked and paid for 2 rooms, and one of my reservations got lost. Instead of trying to figure out what had happened, the front desk girl decided to argued with me. The manager came out at my request and eventually the reservation was...

We don't often hand below average ratings on properties but this one earned it. Reasons: - No one at the front desk when we checked in yet the one desk clerk seemed to struggle with processing us in despite acknowledging having everything she needed. - Hotel has a restaurant on the first floor but there is no information about it...

Beautiful architecture and old-time flare. Lovely interior with the fastest "old" elevator ever. The restaurant looked almost elegant, however, the menu prices were so high that we chose to eat elsewhere. We were greeted by friendly valets and front desk personnel. However, the valet service was expensive & the parking garage was 2 blocks away from the building, so not very...

Needed a hotel near the Lyric Opera House and this fit the bill (was within walking distance). Chairs in the bar are in serious disrepair, the chair in my room had a large stain. My room had a lovely view of a brick wall, so I could not tell the weather at all (couldn't even see the sky). This made...

This was a spur the moment stay in Baltimore. I found a great deal for this hotel on Groupon, and saw there were pretty good reviews. We got there pretty late, and the woman behind the counter was very nice and accommodating. The room was nothing out of this world, but it was clean and comfortable, so we were very...

This is a cozy place for a one night sleep over or more ... We spent one night there, because we went to theater and had business in the city the next morning. Lovely place, a bit retro ... It kinda brings you back to the 80s, except now it's pristinely clean and smoke-free. It's a quaint place, located in...
