My sister and I went out to Laurel Caverns for a fall weekend getaway as it is exactly halfway between her and I. I chose this hotel because it seemed like the best option besides Nemacoln (which was obviously out of our price range). However, I am a hotel snob and was absolutely blown away by this place. It is...

A quaint old inn, clean, comfortable. Great veranda with views. I will return and recommend it. The food in the restaurant was good. I had only two complaints: the Wifi worked ONLY in the lobby, and I found unwanted religious material placed in my room- a Christian Bible. Why do hotels think it is necessary or indeed acceptable to be...

This was a wonderful break after a long day of bicycling. The pool & hot tub were a great start & then a relaxing dinner with good friends on the veranda overlooking the beautiful valley was a great ending to the day. I found the place & it was a big hit with the rest of our group. We felt...

We stayed there because of its proximity to falling water. My wife and I fell in love with it. The hotel is quaint, there is ample parking, the staff were very friendly. Our room was nicely sized. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. We will visit again

Historic Summit Inn was recommended to us by other guests at our hotel in Uniontown, Pa. They were from Florida and, like us, were in town to visit Fallingwater. The service was outstanding, the food was great and the view / atmosphere was incredible! I'll not have to wonder where I'm going for dinner the next time I visit Fallingwater...

I visited with my sister after several days of hiking in Virginia. What a perfect way to end the trip! The hotel is a reminder of bygone days of travel. It opened around 1908. The lobby is quite evocative of that era. One note of caution: there are lots of stairs. If that is an issue it would not be...

The views and the feeling of history are the best things about this place. Very relaxing...we were staying during the middle of the week and there were no children around which we liked! Room was very clean, quiet, beds comfortable. Would have liked HD TV instead of analog cable. No in-room coffee makers so beware. Quiet walk to a quiet...

Old fashioned and charming, this hotel has the most beautiful views at sunset. Grab a rocking chair and watch the amazing sunset, actually my favorite part of the stay. We had a bit of a problem pre-visit because although the site claimed it was a bed and breakfast, they told us no breakfast included. I felt that was deceptive, so,...
