We needed a private getaway to chill and enjoy each other and did we ever find it at the The Gastonion! The room was impeccable, the fireplace, beautiful, the staff, could not be nicer and we appreciated all of the great attention to detail. The food was beautifully prepared and the location just right. We will return!

We stayed in the Garden Room by a fountain with fish outside our door in a nice garden area and it was peaceful! Breakfast included warm items such as grits or eggs, but minimal choices. Staff was gracious; location far from center of town; transportation easy to arrange if not driving and would recommend not driving as parking is tricky....

Dear Marty, I thank goodness that you found no ghosts at Gastonian either. I have never had an encounter, which is a very good thing! I am also happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and visit to Savannah. It would be great to hear more feedback concerning our breakfast selection. If you would like to email me at...

I can't say enough great things about this place. Right from the get go the staff was able to accommodate a slightly early check-in as my wife and I arrived in town early. The room was super elegant, spacious, and perfectly matched the description at booking time. We stayed in a garden level king suite furnished with whirlpool tub, couples...

We loved the location a block from Forsyth Park on a gorgeous street - quiet but yet close enough to walk to most places of interest. We felt like we were staying in someone'/s elegant mansion from another era, Rooms were beautifully appointed and well-maintained, with working fireplaces Breakfast was really goodThe staff could not have been more helpful and...

From this small hotel, I was able to walk to every place in the historic Savannah. For the breakfast, they'll give you a sheet to fill. Don't depart the slightest from their sheet or they'll just ignore it -- if you ask for 2 sides of the same thing rather than 2 different sides then you'll just get one. They'll...

From the very moment we arrived in front of The Gastonian, we were greeted by Everett, the Bellman. He was awaiting our arrival and took over to assure that our car was parked in a space behind the Inn. He carried all of our bags up to our gorgeous room. When we checked in, at the Consierge desk, Fallon was...

First time at this property and we found it awesome! The staff is exceptionally helpful and attentive. The food was great and we took advantage of the romantic turndown service one night which did not disappoint! The location of the Inn is so convenient to everything in Savannah from a walking distance -- we never used our car the entire...

We loved the Gastonian and the staff that took excellent care of us. Everything was top notch. We wish we would have planned more time there. We especially loved spending quiet time on the balcony just outside our room. The proximity of the Gastonian was such that we didn't use our car the entire two night three day visit. We...

The Gastonian B&B is somewhat overpriced compared to other accommodations in the area. The interior is decorated with antique period furniture. We stayed in the Mary Hillyer room and found it large and comfortable with a modern bathroom and access to a shared balcony. Marcus and Everett were wonderful hosts and helped with finding restaurants in the area. The hot...
