Fancy hotel in a little town of downtown Savannah. Overall location was great for walking distance to many restaurants and shops, hotel was pretty. They had a nice outdoor pool and ace free s’more fire pit by the pool. Only downfall I would say was breakfast was not included they did have a restaurant on site, but for a family of four without Getting anything extravagant was a $70 breakfast without a tip. So it is definitely pricey. Our toilet seat had a cracked stain that looked gross and our shower. Clogged up immediately water was staying in the tub, I did have to call down. They did come up with a plunger and Drano problems seemed fixed for the time being. We were told that check in we would be brought up a sample of sangria and champagne, but that never happened. We were there out of state for a wedding nearby. I would probably pick somewhere else with similar prices who actually included breakfast. Also, the material of the sheets made my husband sweat so very badly. We needed to have them change the sheets every day. Not a terrible stay though.…
This hotel was perfectly located, close to everything, within walking distance of sites and attractions, great food, fun bars, and so many things to do. It was clean, smelled good upon entry, the staff was super friendly and accomodating in every single respect. The pool area was really nice and they provided the makings for smores at the firepit, which was a wonderful time.
The Andaz is a lovely hotel, with an excellent location on Ellis Square. Fabulous food and entertainment are just steps away in every direction. The hotel staff are all very friendly and the rooms are clean and have nice decor. My room had a small table with two chairs vs a traditional desk, but I still had room for a work set-up. My stay was for both work and then some personal time, and the Andaz was fabulous for both. If you're looking to host a work meeting of a modest size, definitely look into the Andaz. The facilities and the support staff were wonderful. As for sightseeing, the location really was so close to everything - very walkable. If you want a perfect way to end your day, get a smores kit from the front desk and enjoy at the firepit on the terrace.
Great place to stay. The rooms were amazing - far superior than what I had anticipated. Everything was spotless. Soft drinks and chips are free in the room. Very comfortable meeting space. The AV tech was courteous and very helpful. Staff was polite, friendly and always willing to help. Location was convenient - walking distance to most places. Would definitely recommend Andaz Savannah for a business meeting or vacation.
Love this quirky hotel. Stylish interiors, nice staff, warm vibe , great gym that’s small but has what you need and a prime location. Free snacks in rooms , nice bar in lobby and outdoor pool. I love it. It’s also right in the middle of restaurants and bars .
Definitely will be searching for Andaz Hyatt chain hotels wherever I go. Very pleased with the ambiance and aesthetic of the place. Very clean and my most favorite part was the super cold AC and complimentary drinks and snacks
The hotel is the nicest hotel in Savannah and has the best location close to the best restaurants, shopping and bars. It is next to city market but is at the end of it so it is not noisy . It is minutes away from the riverfront, too. The staff make you feel very welcomed This boutique hotel does not nickel and dime you for everything and offers many nice free extras such as wine tasting and in-room nonalcoholic beverages.
To start, my wife and I were welcomed as Globalist members and given a complimentary sangria. We were rewarded with free valet parking and a suite upgrade overlooking a beautiful Savannah square. Other perks included a nightly drink and appetizer tasting as well as a smore on the pool deck by the fire. The room also included complimentary snacks and sodas as well as water bottles whenever we needed. Every single staff member we encountered were welcoming and hospitable. I've never experienced the dedicated customer service at this level before. Maybe it's a Savannah culture thing, but I imagine all these employees truly love their jobs and coworkers which bleeds over to how they treat the customers. I can't recommend this place enough.
Great vibe at the Andaz in Savannah. Very boutique-like. Rooms could certainly use a refresh but the common areas are great. We particularly liked the bar and the staff were very nice and quite accommodating. Location is great (better than the waterfront in our opinion - -waterfront is only 2 blocks away).
Free snack and drinks in room. Great hostess. Beautiful and clean building. Walking distance to historic sites. This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at when I’m in Savannah. Love the breakfast. I absolutely can not wait to return for another stay!
