This is not your typical hotel, it’s so much better. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very clean! The staff is friendly, helpful, and truly want your stay to be the best. We highly recommend staying and we will be back!
This place is awesome! The location is close to everything, just a few steps away you can ride the trolley or the ferry. The rooms are so nice and clean. They are very spacious. It's esepcially nice to have a small kitchen when you have a pet. They are so nice to pets and provide a goodie bag for them when you check in. I would highly recommend the Olde Harbour Inn to anyone staying in Savannah!
Customer service is top notch at Olde Harbour Inn. Every employee I encountered was genuinely friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure a good stay. There are nice little touches (included in the amenities fee) that make it a special place: a cooler with unlimited bottles of water and soda throughout the day, muffins and juice in the mornings, wine and snacks in the evenings, and ice cream in your fridge. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and sites downtown, and it's just steps from River Street. The property itself is lovely - my suite was much larger than I expected with high ceilings and exposed beams, and everything was nice and clean. There are tradeoffs for staying in an historic property directly on the river. At night, you might be startled awake by the blaring of a horn as a barge passes by your window. Or, when your neighbors are home, you might hear their footsteps creaking overhead. If it's raining, you might be nervous walking down the metal stairs from Rossiter Pl to the main level of the inn. If these things would bother you, Olde Harbour Inn might not be the place for you, but it all added to the charm for me, and I give it 5 stars.…
Southern hospitality personified! Wonderful reception by Mika with the warmest welcome I have ever received at a hotel. Lovely, quaint inn with great location close to River Walk. Free refreshments in lobby and ice cream waiting in your room! Free wine and snacks offered every evening in reception area overlooking Savannah River. The Sunday evening host was marvelous and provided personal attention to guests above and beyond the ordinary. Highly recommend and would love to return!
What a first class experience from Meeka at the front desk and the large suite, to the Klondike bars in the freezer!! The inn was in close proximity to all of the restaurants and shops on River Street. We also loved the view of the river! This will be our go to when we come back!
The customer service is stellar from beginning to end. They exceed in trying to please! Our stay was noise free although they provide ear plugs in case it isn't. I can see that due to the location right on the boardwalk/riverwalk that it could get noisey and at times I could here folks above walking across the floor but not at all bad. The space is massive with a separate living room, kitchen, bathroom, and king bedroom. It is an all stairs and climb to the hotel down to the rooms or up to the rooms (no elevator). This to keep in mind as you bring luggage and belongings. They provided luggage delivery to the rooms so this was not an issue. There is a full refrigerator and microwave with a coffee maker in the kitchen. The decor is up to date. The entire experience provided unique joys such as complimentary icecream in the freezer, water bottles, wine and snacks in the lobby in the evening, and muffins in the morning, and drinks all day (water, juice, coffee, etc) Everything was super clean, the location provided for easy walking to every 'to-do' place to eat and see. Once you park that's it. The daily parking fee here was about 20 or 25 dollars compared to many hotels and other lots charging 45 ++ dollars for daily parking.…
Great location and the main reason we chose this property. The service we received over the phone before even arriving to friendly and more than accommodating service was over the top! Probably one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had from a hotel.
We were in rm. 404, The Princess. It is the floor above check-in, so about 1 1/2 floors up from the cobblestone alley/E. Factors Walk but street level with Emmet Park/E. Bay St. There is a walkway above the alley/Factors Walk from Emmet Park, which also has stairs down to the front entry on Factors Walk. The view from our liv. rm. was of Emmet Park. The view out the back, from the Master BR, is a partially blocked view of the river. (Joe's Crab Shack is across the street.) A muffin, coffee, and juice are included for breakfast. A mini-fridge by the reception desk has complimentary soda and water. Our liv. rm. had a wet bar: mini-frig., microwave, Keurig coffee maker. (4 K cups were provided.) The Master bed was a King. Hall bath is shared with the LOFT (overlooks liv. rm.) qu. bed. The large lounge that is just beyond the check-in desk, on the E. River St. side of the building, is where they served wine and a plate with crackers, cheese, and a few carrot & celery sticks from about 5:30-7:00. I thought I could smell cigarette smoke in this room. I noticed the next morning when we went out to walk along E. River St. that there is a Cigar shop under that meeting space. I don't know if the rooms near that shop would smell that or not. It wasn't a problem in our room.…
Hotel was in a great location for exploring the city and eating out. We had an upgrade on the room that we booked which was great. Nice touches like ice cream in the freezer and a breakfast bag in the morning as well. Great to stay in an historic building but that means no lift so needs to be factored in if that's a problem for you.
The hotel itself was spacious and comfortable. They could use better pillows and towels. Our main issue was the location of the hotel and the surrounding cheap shops, tacky tourist, and noisy restaurants along the river.
