Hotel's Favourite
I stayed here with my boxer dog based on reviews and location. I typically stay at another brand name but this hotel had such rave reviews I decided to give it a go and I wasn’t disappointed. The room was huge with a separate living room then kitchen with microwave, keurig coffee maker, full size fridge/freezer and sink so it’s extremely convenient, bathroom then beyond that is the bedroom. In-room safe and Klondike bars in your freezer. Complimentary unlimited bottled water and soft drinks throughout the day as well as a happy hour with wine and snacks in the evening. Your dog also gets an amenity gift bag. Parking is at the hotel with in/out privileges as often as you wish. The staff, every single member of the hotel staff was engaging and so helpful. I can’t say enough good about them. I will say the only down side is you can hear the people above you walking at times or doors closing to the outside but keep in mind, this is a historic building so it’s not all concrete. Great place great stay

My dad and I planned a trip to Savannah in August 2021, so I specifically looked for any hotel that had suites or 2 bedrooms per room because I wasn't interested in sharing a bedroom with my dad. I stumbled across the Olde Harbour Inn because I saw that some of their rooms had a bedroom plus a loft with a bed, so we booked that type of room and we're so glad that we did! The room was spacious with a living area and kitchenette, plus a bedroom and bathroom and the aforementioned loft up a flight of stairs with a queen bed and a skylight! Our room was on the corner of the building so we had great views of the water and the huge cargo ships. The building is clearly old with a lot of history that you can read about on their website, but the updates are modern and beautiful. The staff were all friendly and of course the happy hour each day with free wine and snacks was lovely! The bathroom was a bit small in comparison to the spaciousness of the rest of the room, but that didn't bother us. The hotel also provided earplugs because River Street can get a bit noisy (there was some construction outside during our stay), but I always sleep with earplugs anyway so I had my own and wasn't bothered by the noise. I do suggest that you bring small bills for tips because even if your suitcase is 100 lbs and your room is up a long narrow outdoor flight of stairs, a staff member will still singlehandedly carry it up there for you in the Savannah summer heat and humidity. The happy hour is also sit-down style where the staff members serve you, so you'll probably want to have tip money for that as well. Overall I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone especially those who like being near water.

Rooms old. Bed and couch uncomfortable. Entrance to and from hotel difficult, River street noisy up to midnight will effect sleeping. Other hotels up on Bay street will avoid this problem. Recommend you try another hotel.

Great location with a historical feeling and wonderful ambience. Staff was awesome, detailed and customer oriented, willing to go beyond to help you. The room was beautiful overlooking the river. And a happy hour with wine and snacks, it can't get better than that!
