They give you "complementary" sparkling wine when you arrive, pouring it immediately. Then they charge huge fees the day after you leave (well over $100) for this. The parking nearby costs extra. The restaurant was never open as far as we could tell. Breakfast may be included, but the $25 value of the breakfast doesn't include cappuccinos or lattes. Breakfast was tasty, but would have cost $12-$15 at a regular place. The windows don't open and the air-conditioner was subpar. There is no exhaust in the bathroom.
We stayed two nights on the way to Florida over the weekend. We arrived and everyone, and I mean everyone, from the Valet to the Registration to the Restaurant Staff were attentive, nice, helpful and simply made us seem at home. The rooms, while a little small, were well appointed and the bed comfortable. Would not hesitate to return if in Town.
Really nice boutique hotel in prime area of Savannah. Room is cozy but very nice and well appointed with a nice walk-in shower. Not sure how crowded hotel was but I never heard any neighbors or slamming doors. Breakfast was free and it's a peaceful place to chill and watch the city come alive right outside the doors. Parking garage was directly across street and felt safe. Overnight parking was I think six dollars compared to $40 for valet. Only issue was bar had already had last call before 9pm when I checked in. The other 2 on-site bars were not open as well, not sure if it was a time of year issue or day of week. I stayed on a Thursday night. Price to stay is definitely on expensive side but to me was worth it.
This is the kind of place you rave about to friends. I had no issues my whole stay and the crew was exceptionally nice. This is customer service you dream about! This was definitely my best hotel experience. I look forward to returning soon!
Perfectly located within walking distance of all the sights. The rooms are modern and super cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Fast check-in and check-out. Breakfast was included in the stay so that was a surprise and the restaurant on the first floor is amazing.
Had a great stay at the Drayton . Staff was wonderful and helpful , rooms were clean and location was amazing . Would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone who wants to visit and have fun in Savannah .
Location was phenomenal...convenient to everything. Would however recommend getting a room on the Broughton Street side. Can be extremely noisy if fronting the Cotton Row side. Downstairs bar was a pleasant surprise, too.
The smoke alarm is directly above the bed and flashes a bright green light while you try to sleep. Beds and sheets are just average. The style is cool but rooms are smaller than average with small windows, and minimal decor makes it almost cell-like. Staff was pleasant. Location is great.
Very nice no issues at all, very pleasant stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There were no pr9oblems checking in or out. I would definitely recommend to others. I for sure rebook next time I am in Savannah
The Drayton is perfectly located and priced. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the rooms are clean and smell nice. Breakfast is delicious, but when we were there late December the service was slow. It felt like they were understaffed and undertrained. It may have been the time of year. Regardless, I would definitely go back!
