Wow! First class all the way! The staff was wonderful. Gabby and Peter made our stay amazing. Gabby gave us recommendations to wonderful restaurants and she was so personable . She made us feel welcomed! Peter was amazing also! Extremely nice. The food was delicious and unique! We thoroughly enjoyed tea time- such a special touch!! I gained ten pounds on this visit, but it was worth it! The room was so spacious and the walk in shower was heavenly!! Our bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby. Our room was very clean. I could go on and on but you must check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed!
If you expect comfort and consideration from your vacation stay, the Bellwether House is an outstanding top choice among the many offered in Savannah. From the myriad of included fine breakfast options that surpass those offered at nearby restaurants, to the absolutely classy tea time drinks and snacks they treat you with every day, into the nightly champagne sabrage celebration, our three-night stay was the highlight of the visit. Rooms: Internet-connected everything. Chilled bottles of water and soda, and an incredibly comfortable bed. The hot water never ends, and the towels are some of the softest I've felt. Food & Drinks: Dining room tea and drinks are offered at all hours, while breakfast requests are granted from 8a until noon. Afternoon tea and snacks are delivered to guests from 3-5p. Champagne is offered to those in attendance at 6p. Noteworthy: Ashley, Alison, Matt, and chef Rae all helped make our stay especially memorable. We thank them, along with many others who supported them.…
Garden Suite #15 does not have any windows! It is a below ground level room (two steep private stairway entrances), four brick walls and a brick floor. Not for the claustrophobic, and I personally found it creepy. The staff explained that there were pictures of the room on the website - the photos were professionally well lit but there is no outside light. Thankfully they were able to reassign us to a different room with a window.
My husband and I took a quick getaway to Savannah which we do often & Bellwether was top notch from the moment we arrived! Offering Valet parking or a secure parking lot for us to park our car, the attention to detail throughout the entire Inn is just amazing! The cutest little coffee& alcohol bar which offers service 24 hours a day! The room was immaculate! The breakfast was by far the most delicious breakfast they have a wonderful chef! We were there fortunately before they had taken the Christmas tree down and did a champayne pop and magical snowflake fall for happy hour! The house is also located on one of my favorite streets in Savannah all beautiful homes. A+++++ for this Inn you definitely get your moneys worth!
I checked out a lot of different BandBs and finally chose Bellwether. I'm glad I did! The hotel is delightfully removated- fresh, calming colors, so clean and well maintained, lovely bedding. It had a hip and welcoming feel. The staff were great. So friendly and helpful. Service was great all the time. I felt so spoiled - not just at breakfast but throughout my stay. They happily accomodated my breakfast request (the food was so good and nice portions), they made my latte and blueberry lemonade just to my liking. The valet car service was fantastic and convenient.I just loved being there! The neighborhood is fantastic and convenient to old Savannah. I will definitely stay here again!
This was a fantastic stay in Savannah. From the unique rooms, to the chef curated breakfast, to unique coffee and tea drinks all times of the day, to the tea time and champagne saboring. Truly a unique and wonderful experience. The staff was outstanding and had everything we needed for our stay. The house is also within walking distance from many sites in Savannah.
This is a great boutique hotel (former residence) near Forsyth park. The service was absolutely outstanding. From the afternoon tea to the handwritten note in the room, I couldn’t have asked for more. The atmosphere and amenities took this place over the top. Big shoutout to every staff member who went above and beyond to make me and every other guest feel so welcome!
