Hello, We stayed there for 3 nights/4 rooms and could not have been happier with the accommodations. The manor was impeccably clean the hosts were helpful and it's in Historic Savannah. As I mentioned above we had four rooms and each had their own charm and decor. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby and one I would highly recommend is in Godley's sister hotel 17 Hundred 90 Inn, the food and service was fantastic. Drop into the lounge it has great character!

Beautiful quaint historical home, we called on a whim and the owner met us there. We checked in within minutes , and he also gave us a coupon to get a free drink each at the 17 Hundred 90 Inn. There was a main kitchen that was available for all. As was the rest of the house. Our stay here was wonderful and I will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed at the Godly Manor recently. Overall, it was a nice stay, but I feel it could be more. First, I want to address some issues I read about it previous reviews. 1) It was very clean. Our room was changed daily with fresh towels, new water left, bed was made, etc. 2) We had no problems with getting into the inn. We arrived after check in hours, but let them know this in advance and I was given a phone number to call (which I did from the Uber). The door was unlocked and the owner was waiting for me when I arrived. He was friendly, gave me a tour, showed me the closet if I needed more supplies, and let me know to call if we needed anything. There were no issues. 3). There is no breakfast. Apparently, they used to do breakfast at the manor (I read that in some reviews), but now they do not offer it. There is a coffee pot in the room with coffee provided (not very good tasting). Downstairs was tea, a kettle for hot water, and a microwave to use if needed; The room had a mini frig. If you plan ahead, all is fine. The Godly in is a beautiful building and I loved the location. The staff and owner are very nice and welcoming. The rooms and furnishings are lovely. However, I kept thinking it could be more than what it was. It is a little odd not having someone in the house all of the time, but I understand that many people might use the inn to sleep in, but be away all day (we were). Having staff on site when guests are mostly absent might not make sense. I wish that at least coffee and tea were offered in the common area so you could meet some other guests and see staff even once during the day to say hello. It would be nice if light music was played downstairs so the home didn’t feel so empty. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and I would recommend it, but just understand some of the particulars about this inn. …

This is NOT the place if you are looking for a B&B experience with Southern hospitality! From the beginning this stay was questionable. We were greeted by a sweet woman who was obviously overworked and almost gave our room to another couple. She showed us to our room ( which was beautiful with a lovely balcony) and told us that no one would be overseeing the Inn and how to get in from the back!! So in short, Godley Manor is physically stunning and comfortable but for over $300/ night, not even a person to say hello or fresh coffee and tea in the morning. We later found out that that “Brandon” who the reviews rave about, left. It is bad business that the Godley’s did not inform us prior to our visit that the stay would be compromised and give us a choice for a refund. We are sad we saved this place in Savannah as our place for a real B&B experience! Don’t make the same mistake.…

We went to Savannah for a weekend getaway and stumbled across this inn. To be honest, we had no idea what to expect and were blown away by our experience. Brandon greeted us, checked us in, and took some time to introduce us to this new city. He was incredibly helpful and gave us wonderful recommendations. We tried a few of his recommendations the first night, and they were so great, we ended up using his recommendations for the whole weekend. We had an amazing time exploring the city. The inn is beautiful, and the pictures do not do it justice. Our room was very large and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to park the car on Friday and not move it again till we left on Sunday. Godly Manor is in a great location, and we were able to walk to everything we did all weekend. Since we stayed over the weekend, we were able to enjoy the continental breakfast which included delicious homemade treats. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch, sipping drinks, and enjoying the beautiful weather. I cannot say enough nice things about our stay and how well Brandon and the staff took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Savannah. We have a new favorite spot to stay, and I would highly recommend it.…

We recently visited Savannah and stayed at Godfrey Manor. Brandon and Theresa were awesome; very warm, friendly and accommodating. We stayed in room 305 which was beautiful except that repairs need to be done which I’m sure will be completed. Brandon went out of his way to provide outstanding breakfasts in the morning and he recommended wonderful restaurants and attractions. I’d certainly stay there again.

Our experience was excellent! Brandon was the best, most accommodating and very helpful. The breakfast spread he put out was amazing!! Very close to Forsyth Park and close to Bull Street, which is not as busy.

If you want to get a true authentic experience in Savannah I highly recommend you stay here. The entire place is beautiful. The location is great and the people running the manor are amazing. Brandon and Terri were especially incredible to us. Brandon was kind and attentive and always made sure we had what we needed. He mapped out our entire weekend with great recommendations for us. Every restaurant recommended was first-class. It was an unforgettable 30th birthday for myself and we will definitely only stay here moving forward when we visit Savannah. An absolutely beautiful experience.

We stayed at this place Easter weekend and had a great experience. The staff were super friendly, especially Brandon who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a great one. We will definitely be staying there again and will continue recommending the Godley Manor to our friends and family.
