Ours is a smaller RV thus parked in the treed area (nice)! Large farm, big ponds, horses, great facilities, friendly/helpful staff. Large grounds thus no feeling of being crowded. Trolly stops at their office - convenient to downtown. We drove into Savannah the next day and was easy.

We could not get a regular RV site as they were all booked but did secure a dry camping spot. Check in was easy. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. When we asked if we could have a campfire we were told we could not in the area they were assigning us to...however, there is an...

This campground has a very efficient check-in process with lots of information provided regarding the campground as well as directions to historic district, gas stations, shopping, attractions, health-related services and parking. Campground office has many brochures describing sightseeing attractions and tours. If you purchase Old Town Trolley tickets at the campground office, the trolley will come right to the campground...

The campground meets all of the basic requirements: clean, well maintained, level sites and friendly staff. They have a good, fairly quiet (just a little bit of road noise in the background) location. You can pick up a hop-on, hop-off trolley right at the the campground - great for RVers who don't tow a vehicle.

We stayed here one night on our way north. Very nice facility-clean, airy and open and a beautiful lake. Located close to Savanah. My complaint is that they advertise one rate on their website, another in brochure and wallop you with a very high rate when you get there. $59.00 for overnight water and electricity only. I didn't argue because...

Great campground. Working farm with lots of animals and plenty of space to walk. Good campsites and close to Savannah. Trolleys touring the city pick you up right at the campground. Electric, water, and sewer at great prices.

When I read the reviews, I was concerned about driving my 40-foot RV with a toad over wet grass. My fears were unfounded, under the grass is rock-hard-concrete-like dirt. Another concern was the dusty road. A few potholes exist on the road but they were easily dodged and not a problem. My "neighbor" had a 45-foot RV with a 25-foot...

After reading all the reviews we decided that this campground was close to Savannah and that is what we wanted. There are trains that go by on a regular basis but we did not find them distracting rather we found them be nice. The setting is pristine and although not a lot of sites all were nice and level and...

We really enjoyed our stay at the campground. We had a Campervan and didn't need a campsite, so the host offered us a special price for dry camping. It was beautiful to enjoy the sunset at the lake. The pool was often a good refreshment during these hot summer days. One day was bad weather, so we played pool in...
